Yes, and supposedly over 100 playable characters so I am hoping that includes villains as well.

1) Can you access the original wii virtual console store to download and play game? The reason i ask is there are some games that i want to play but they have not released them on the wiiu virtual console.

2) Can you play video off a external harddrive? If no are there plans for nintendo to add this in the future?

1) Yes you can move over all of your current Wii purchases to a "virtual Wii" within the Wii U. This will also move the store and any Wii points so you can continue to purchase other titles.

2) There is no video app for the Wii U and I doubt there will be. The only way to watch video on the Wii U is through Netflix and I think Hulu Plus.

If i never purchased a wii can i still make new purchases through the wii virtual console store? I really just want games out of it and not through the wiiu store. Especially since the wiiu store doesnt have n64 and genesis stuff. Will the n64 stuff run fine on the wiiu?

Yes. The "virtual Wii" is just like a normal Wii. You have access to 95% of the apps from the Wii through the Wii store.

Good review.
His main gripe of not having enough "new" material doesn't concern me.
I've never played the first two installments. I'm in for a real treat.

This game has been getting high review scores by almost everyone.
