A female body with what looks like the maybe the best articulation yet. Granted, not too aesthetically pleasing, but I doubt we'll ever see a decent mass production female figure that is. But for an action babe or sci fi girl, Aeon Flux, Catwoman, Barbarella, etc...

Very nice. Boobs are a bit large though.

Well the natural body swap for Lara Croft just made itself known.

Why do they paint nipples on?

I also don't understand why the Triad Otaku has detailed genitals.

Personally I like a certain level of realism to our figures. There are a lot of aspects to our figures that really don't need to be there.
For example if our figures all wear boots/shoes why do we need toes on the feet, or even toe nails?
Why do the figures need a six pack abs if they are wearing loose clothing?
Why do most of our figures have a belly button?
Why does the male Buck body have nipples?

Just my opinion but I will take the painted nipples and all the detail Triad gives to their figures. It kind of makes you know these are adult collectibles.

:lecture Well said, I totally agree.

Thanks, DA.

In response to your query Eli, the DC female body has larger breasts and no nipples. Plus the feet are curved like a Barbie for wearing heels.
Thank God the DC Direct figures don't have nipples, the Power Girl outfit is revealing enough, if she had nipples the figure would need pasties just to keep her top up.

Superhero outfits may be cool but you can tell they were designed by men whenever you look at the females.

I don't get it. It's a toy.

Triad's stripper action figure fetish has always disturbed me though. Seeing labia on a doll just seals it.

To each their own.

so buying a doll without nipples makes you more of a man then? :lol

if anything the paintwork on the triad body looks way better. the sculpt overall is also better. i am not crazy about the manly shoulders on this one

I don't know what the final price on this is going to be but, at least its a poseable body. Definitely a Lara Croft transfer like The Mike said. Also looks good for soem superhero transfers. As for paintwork, if most of the body is going to be covered, paintwork becomes less than minimal to me.

from a certain point of view, I can understand why the painted her nipples on. If you need it to be anatomically correct for figure drawing purposes then you would need the nipples, but why no face then? Also as stated earlier the shoulders are a bit large for a feminine look. As for the cy girls having detail genitals.. maybe the same is true for anatomy reasons, or Japanese otakus are perverts.

Triads male bodies going to have williys then?:lol:lol
that'll be the day:banghead.
But its good though, like someone above said i like as much detail as possible on my 1/6 figures, whether they'll be visible when displayed or not.
