Which seller sells the most accurate costume? Or are they all the same?

Though there are several Ebay sellers that sell Nurse Jokers, there's only one "kit." It doesn't come with a body or sculpt, unlike the others, but it's by far the highest quality and most accurate and is designed for a Hot Toys TrueType.

You'll know you have the right one because it comes in a custom box made to look like a deck of playing cards and includes a custom Nurse Joker playing card.

It runs about $20-$25 and comes in two versions - one with and one without the wig. The wig is made to fit on the BR Joker smiling sculpt.

It comes with the wig, outfit, surgical mask, shoes, black socks, hands, detonator, silenced pistol, and medical chart. A great deal.

How accurate is this? Is it the best one in the market or are there members here who are doing any customizings?

It's the best one on the market. The only quibble you might have is with the "Harvey Dent: Take Back Gotham" sticker - it's misspelled "Henry Dent: Take Back Godham" or something like that, presumably for copyright purposes. You can easily make your own if the (admittedly very small) text bothers you.

I think lforigno did a custom Nurse Joker a few weeks back, but it was using this kit - he just improved on it by using skins to cover the joints, re-painting the wig, etc.

So your best bet is to use the kit and either be done with it or improve upon it, rather than starting from scratch (or using some of the other, crappier Nurse Jokers that occasionally pop up on Ebay).

Yeah I bought the kit on ebay and then covered the joints using arm and leg skins from sovereign studios. I also used the main joker head from the bank robber joker and cut off the hair so that the wig would fit. Than I used a water based acrylic paint and carefully painted the arms, leg and chest to match. I also used a truetype with a attached neck so that the neck would not show and just cut the neck off the joker head and carefully attached it.

Wow!

Sounds awesome! Got any pics mate?

What did you use for the neck area? And wow, I would never be able to dremel and repaint a head that good.......fml

Thanks guys, but praise should go to Josh for his awesome work!

Yes Hydeous, it's the BR head.

Oh, I see!

So did you have to get rid of the neck on your own? Or did Josh cut it for you as well?

I'm gonna be doing one as well, as soon as I have a spare funds for it:eek:

You should get some sleeves snake! I think it'll look even better than it already is!

Btw, do you have a collection thread already? I'm very interested to see your collection:horror
