After two months, this Ming general finally arrived in Kansas City from Henan.

Chip, how are the scales on the ming general figure? Are they actual individual pieces?

Fantastic pictures !! This figure looks absolutely incredible Chipgau ! I thought it was a photo from the movie .

Movie? I didn't know KLG's figures were based on a film, what's the title?

It’s actually a documentary about Japan’s invasion of Korea in 1592 . I found it on YouTube . I’m pretty sure the company who produced these figures based them off of this . https://youtu.be/t5490lgtpbc

Cool that it's a documentary, i'm not confident enough to say if KLG's stuff is 1:1 historically accurate, but the figures seem more plausible then 90% of the stuff from other companies like inflames or even 303 (Which isn't a knock against those companies, mind you). That they're based on a historical documentary rather than a film probably helps. What they might lack in "wow factor" they more than make up with authenticity and attention to detail. I feel like the guys behind KLG are really passionate about chinese history, almost like the Kaustic Plastik of China. Sorry about gushing, but i've really gotten into this company, they're just about the only company i collect consistently from.

Has anyone else seen this teaser from 303? Looks pretty impressive"

The scales from KGL Ming general’s armor feel like individual scales. You can feel it like in this photo that 303 teased. Not sure if they share the same parents company or share factory. Based on trade show presence I think Coomodel and 303 are the same company deep down because they shared the same booth and displayed figures together.

Based on the timeline that KGL depicted for this Ming Xuanwu general, the year 1593 was the first half of the Seven Years War. The Ming general led the Chinese army to help Korea was Li Rusong so I assumed that this was he. LOL I like to give my soldier a background.

Finally 5 tiger generals reunited !!!
Anyway heres a quick pics of COO Sanada Yukimura & Masamune Date

I have to say Im very impressed with these two figures. 50% of their armor is metal and very good craftmanship and details. A lot of accessories and the box can be used as display base and backround too. Definitely worth to buy

Whoever has the Inflames Zhang Fei, I'd like to see the body that they used. I'd appreciate pictures!

Awesome pictures ! Awesome figures ! Congrats and thanks [emoji2][emoji106]

I have COO Yukimura coming next week. I am undecided if I will put him on a horse or not. Definitely running out of space since I already reserved space for all 5 Shu Tiger generals on horseback.

@chipgau : COO Winter Base station is perfect for COO Yukimura. Its also historically accurate. 5 Tiger Generals is definitely a must on horseback. Can you share us your display shelf ?

Does he have the same horse as Zhao Yun? I wish I could get only the figure and not the same horse again. Oh well, I could give his horse to other generals outside of Three Kingdoms era.

Received Zhou Yu yesterday. His expression is a bit bland but overall it's nice. I need to get a custom case to fit some of these figures. I'm completely out of room now

Wow that was fast shipment. I havent got mine. Usually 3 months after China release they will get to Indonesia.
Anyway I was thinking to place my Zhou Yu on this :

Its like he's giving command to the Red Cliff Navy armada scene aahahahahahhahahah...

Also, you can easily add your display case using IKEA Detolf. Its cheap and efficient to display 1/6 figures... just my 2 cents
