I hope this is just a bad batch and not all Huang Zhong figure looks like this ****. I am not a fan with rooted hair or beard if not done right. I wasn’t 100% favored Guan Yu’s rooted beard by Inflames or 303, but Huang Zhong’s beard took the cake for being absolutely terrible.

Until I have received him in hands, I don’t know what I have to do to fix this mess.

Looks like beard glued to face where they connect. The fat head doesn't bother me too much. They changed the helmet design too

Yes . I noticed that myself . Very tempted to get this guy but it’s to much . I’m happy with my 303 Zhang Fei . Congrats whoever gets it though .

I’m waiting for Zhou Yu from Timewalker. Tempted on Inflames Zhang Fei, but I probably save the money for Nobunaga Oda instead.

Look back 2 pages you'll see. I think ripping the beard and re-glue might be the only option unfortunately

303 toys definitely need to step up with there head sculpts . This looks a lot worse then the prototype unfortunately . The beard issue is just the tip of the iceberg . The paint looks terrible . Zhang fe was HOT TOYS quality but for some reason there more recent generals don’t have the same quality .??? There’s no excuse either since there charging a premium price for these figures .
