Well thats a way to introduce yourself to this community ..

Well, with all respect..thanks for the help here trying to release me from this project. Everybody is free to do whatever they want of course. No one is obligated to anything here and its a buyers market as well.

Me on the other side .. I feel committed to all the people here who are supporting my effort and for those who want to stay with me I will do my best to deliver a nice Obiwan saber. If another sculptor steps in..everybody has the right to switch over of course.

I started this project already and I will finish it.. worst case for myself only !

To be clear here..I don't see this as a competition or anything like that. I just saw a bunch of guys here looking for a missing hilt and I would love to help out and I will for those who like my work at the end

I don’t think he is trying to step on your toes or anything like that or wants anyone to switch. I think since this has become a little more popular than everyone first thought I think he brought it up so that if you still only want to make the first batch of 30 that you originally promised then the rest of us could still possibly have another avenue to get one that’s all.

I like the Sorrai's proposal since this is about the proto's part, but this piece is mechanical so myc surely can deliver the same quality.
So now the Trevor's friend haven't talk about money yet, so let's wait

While I'm sure Trevor's associate is more than capable, any collector who steps up to the plate like myc did has my money. Not to mention, the WIP pic you teased us with looks outstanding!

about how to attach the saber... at the end of the saber I will attach a small metal ring.. that can get simply hocked on a hock that prob. will need to get glued on...

About the hock problem..I guess I will have a better idea how to do it when I get my replacement Obiwan.. in the meantime.. if someone has ideas how to attach the hilt onto the statue... dont hesitate to come out !!
