Finally got around to getting pics of this guy, after a few months. It's given me some time to be a bit less annoyed about the whole foot peg/base issue... Still bothers me every time i see the black part that should be hidden in base though. I'm pretty sure i'll never be brave enough to pull his foot out of the base again to try to sand down even more of the polystone and make it flush. Oh well

You could always get some real sand and fill that gap if it bothers you. I know he can be a pain to take on/off base even when they fit right, so a bit of play sand might do the trick and add some realism at the same time.

I finally received mine, and let me say that this is my first collectible statue/figure ever. WOW...WOW...WOW. Its extremely heavy, and very detailed. I am shocked that it arrived to me undamaged, as there are so many small "hanging" type pieces. I am so nervous if I ever have to repackage the thing. If you ever get the chance, I would highly recommend picking one up.

I know it's a little late, but I figured I would post my wip ANH Lightsaber I made for my statue. I was really bummed Sideshow didn't include his unlit hilt, so I made my own. I know it's not completely screen accurate, but it's as close as I could get it, and I'm really happy with it It'll be nice to finally have what feels like a 'completed statue.' I also dremeled down the current 'sculpted' lightsaber clip on the statue and scratch built one so it should hang on there a bit better and look a little nicer as well. Hope ya like it!

I saw even higher than that, I remember a couple got to $1200 or so at their height. $600 is a very good price, they are starting to rise again so I would not delay.

Hey guys, what do you think a fair price is for this piece would be? Guy at my local comic shop has one he wants to sell. I don't want to low ball him, but I don't want to get taken advantage of either. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

A good price is $500. A fair price is 650-700 (looking at ebay prices).

Nothing wrong with starting at retail... but like others said $500 is fair and if you consider how much a seller looses on eBay with fees it's probably about what he'd walk away with even if it sold for more.

I was looking at the sold prices, and the cheapest ones (not including shipping) was $750, most averaging around $800. Without fees I came to the "fair" price of $700. But generally doing stuff IRL is just easier for the seller, and can warrant an extra discount.
