True, Sideshow edition sizes seem to be getting huge for some of these. I guess we may see more $350 pricing for future Mythos pieces since this one seems to be doing great.

Does this mean I shouldn't expect the piece to start shipping until January? I'm new to this and I'm not sure what effect a Nov-Jan flex-pay schedule means for a release date. I was really hoping to have it by Christmas.

Okay, another question to those more in-the-know than I. Is having a release date being pushed back like this an indicator that maybe SS is listening to some of us who gave our feedback re: the size/length of Ben's lightsaber? I mean, is that a completely rediculous supposition, or have other items been pushed back in order to affect last-minute changes to a piece?

Very doubtful, it is usually sign they bit off more than they can chew so production is just delayed. With that being said they do, occasionally (read very rarely), make changes after the prototype. More than likely they it is because other pieces are pushing this piece.

So, I was wondering, has anyone else received a notice similar to DM's? This is my first order from SS, and I opted for the pay-at-once feature, and, other than my initial order confirmation, have received no other info regarding Obi-Wan, so other than this one note here, I've heard nothing of it.

Just wondering (and I promise not to keep harping on this). Thanks.

Both Snoop and DM have been around the block once or twice they know what they are talking about. I knew from the start that the Nov ship date was a mistake. I wouldn't expect it to ship until next year. Usually about six months to a year after PO. This is a valid question so don’t be afraid to ask. This group of peeps is really cool and all questions are answered for the most part.

also keep in mind that SS takes their sweet time when it comes to updating specific product pages. So just because the product page still says Nov doesn't count for a whole lot.

Hello! Just want to state that I was focusing in video game related stuff...but...seeing this statue I was like

I mean this is awesome!
Anyway preordered it and I think (as they got me into Star Wars) that a looong way is ahead of me...well, and my pockets...

Perhaps the price is a bit high but man this is a hell of a sculpt!

It may be a mistake but let's keep our fingers crossed. This seems to be an ambitious line and we saw final production photos a while back. From the videos we see they have future projects on the go for this line and they probably want all 5 of these first launch pieces in market within the first year. Do I sound to hopeful?
