Statue Obi-Wan Kenobi Mythos Statue

I believe this is the best SideShow statue that is going to be released relatively soon. This piece is grail and I bought it even though I'm not really a big Star Wars fan. I just have to get this to display it.

Arthas is coming February which I also looks grail but I had to have this one. It was a choice for me between this and Dutch (which is fabulous) but this statue looks better imo

I completely agree with you. I wasn't so much interested in Star Wars statues until I saw Obi Mythos. I consider it a masterpiece (that is if it will be executed the right way) and have already paid it.
This and Darth Mythos are top depictions. Just the statues themselves tell a great story, you can "smell" an aura around them and give me great feelings. Very sentimental statues...if I can say this for statues.

I'm assuming he meant mainly the paint applications. If SS can pull off the paint apps and not muck up the sculpts, this piece truly be epic.

I don't know the details, but apparently they screwed up the Rogue PF. Also, before the paint, the Arwen statue looked fantastic, however, after the paint it was so bad many have commissioned artists to repaint it.

I'm sure there are others, but those come to mind.

I know that one well. They totally ****ed up the paint job on her eyes. She is 1/4 scale. In more than half the statues she is cross-eyed. And she has quite large eyes because she is a beautiful 1/4 scale woman.

PF = Premium Format = 1/4 scale

Yes I meant the paint application. The sculpt is what it is and it is far too difficult to be badly made.
But the paint...yeah this is a gamble especially for such detailed pieces. We will have to trust the far east factory workers.

A recent paint "disaster" is Isaac Clarke statue which I am ok with but from what I have seen it came out really bad.

Edit: ok. On second reading I got some of it. However: what's a Jawa Bandolier? Who are tusken? Water cistern? Canteen? Guess that has meaning aka keeping him alive. Jerba skin rug? What's a Jerba?

Arwen was not 1:4, she's in the LOTR maquette line which is 1:5 just like this line...

She was not a PF.
