I just opened her as well. As harp's pics show...the scale of head and helmet are non-issues...dudes...this may be as good a Star Wars 12" figure as Sideshow has done yet.I will add to the pics shortly.

You mean, the sky DIDN'T FALL!!!!??? :lol

Can't wait to see your pics Cruel. :rock

Oopsie. Look what just fell out of the sky! Pictures coming in the next few minutes or so...

Shock I know. :lol

Honestly, there wasn't too much of a Chicken Little situation with this figure. Yeah, a few comments here and there about bobblehead syndrome, which I'm starting to think is either minimal or was a distortion of the camera lens.

I really may have to pick this one up after all. It's going to be a busy month with Sidious and Ventress in the mix as well.

As a lover of accessories...this figure is as good as any. Lots of weapons (3), an opening pouch on her belt, 6 cannisters that are removeable from her belt, 5 cylinders that are removeable from her shoulder strap, her helmet and her back pack. And speaking of the back pack...it does go on very well...but should not be removed once it is put on. It will go on nicely, but there is a slight hump in the peg it needs to be slid over. I was concerned about breaking the plate on the back pack but I twisted it slowly while adding VERY LTTLE pressure and it went over the hump and stays very well.

Oh...in the second pic, I had to adlib Ephant Mon until Sideshow gets their's done.

Edit - Man! I am totally cool with this figure! Leia Boushh has completely brought my faith back around from the Faramir face paint disaster.

Edit2 - This macro shows the imperfecions of the paint app...but to look at it normally, they are not noticeable. She looks great!

Edit3 - I am not sure if anyone knows this, but the big plug that is used with Leia's Helmet gets removed to put her head on.

I just opened the package and removed Leia from her plastic chamber... I've had this less than 15 minutes and can already state that this is without a doubt my favorite Sideshow Star Wars figure thus far!

I was going to post more pictures, but the boss just walked in and he probably wants me to work instead of posing and snapping portraits of my new dollie ;)

But I will say this: the only Sideshow Star Wars 1/6th scale figure I own which has a better paint job than this one is my Episode III Obi Wan. And before I lose what little credibility I have, let me mention that my Episode III Obi Wan was repainted by Customikey!

Would I have liked to receive this figure sooner than I did? Absolutely. But if it took this long to make it this perfect, then so be it!

Getting this figure now only makes me more excited to see what Sideshow's got for us at Comic Con this year. They just raised their own bar and the next figure I get is gonna have a LOT to live up to!

IMO, the Episode III Obi-Wan paint job is pretty dang good. Not quite movie accurate, but it looks good enough on its own. And I have to say Leia Boushh's paint deco is looking just as amazing. It looks so much like Carrie Fisher that it's scary. Just as cool as GG's Slave Leia.

This figure is truley stunning in person, maybe the best yet. Before she arrived I thought I knew for sure how I was going to display her, but now I can't decide which head to use. They both came out great.

Wow these pictures look amazing, and as we all know the figures look even better in person. SS cant get this across the pond to me soon enough. Looks like a major home run.
The head and helmet sizes look pretty much in proportion so thats my main concern answered. My other was the material for the pants, which still doesnt look as good as the proto, but those who have it dont seem to think its an issue so thats good enough for me. If the pants are the only gripe with this figure I'm more than happy.
For those who have it in person, are the armour peices and helmet well made...... does it look like SS could very soon crank out a Boba or Vader??
Looks like SS is back on the money....... cant wait to see what they have up their sleeves at SDCC.

Here is a shot of the helmet, plug, and head the plug and head have the same sculpted hole for the peg in the neck.

And I also want to say...the articulation on this figure works a lot better than that of the other figures. I am stripping her tonight to see what the difference besides the neck post is.

Thanks for all the cool pics guys, and thanks for the fuzzy bear in the bee suit that is standing in for Ephant Mon, I was confused as to what he was doing there!:lol

I only hope that we get to see the Wookie that she was hauling in during this scene soon too! :chew
