Need that replacement shoulder armor. SADLY the guy that used to sell them on ebay cant be found anymore. Anyplace to source it or are there resin files out there to print one?

Yeah, I couldn't find that ebay armor for mine. I spread/expanded the existing armor as much as I could and thought about building it out with styrene but I kept thinking "eh, HT isn't far away from doing this."

Building it out with styrene would have been super tricky to do (and keep it smooth.) Yeah, hopefully someone will do a 3D print file at some point if HT doesn't do the fig.

yeah i remember that ebay seller. cant remember there user id but i bought that armor set off of him years ago and it makes the figure much better. what body did you use ?

For now the Rey (jakku) body that's got the incorrect breast size for that release of rey (only currently is the jedi training one correct) and the hoth sculpt. Trying to track down a tomy helm atm.

The Sideshow helmet can be modded to make it a bit more accurate then the Tomy, though there is some work involved.

I can?t really take credit for mine since it?s modded by Elvis76. But I know it?s the Tomy helmet and the armor from eBay.

Major improvement. I like that custom armor too. I sort of stopped on mine because I felt like HT would do a Boussh sooner rather than later.

And yeah the SSC clown pants are awful. I took some thread, crumpled the pant pleats until they looked about right then sewed a rough couple of lines through them to hold the new ripples in place. You could possibly do the same thing with glue.

Two simpler things I did was extending the coat to make it a bit longer (though depends on the body you use) and recoloring the brown parts on the figure - they are too light and rust colored for me. Painting the helmet also is simple but adds a lot.

Remaking the boots was tricky but that makes the legs look better. Resculpting my helmet was pretty hard so wouldn't recommend doing that - the Tomy one looks pretty good without much effort.

Thanks for the advice, I did end up reworking the pleats with some stitches like you mentioned. Helps a bunch! I am torn on if I should do a similar boot mod as you did. I might hold off for now as I too feel like there may be an official Hot Toys version in the future.

Thanks for all the tips, I think the last mod I may do is paint the leather "snout" portion of the mask a more accurate color.

I got the body off of Toy Anxiety labeled "Female Ronin Nobushi"

It seemed to be the closest in height to the Hot Toys Leia figures. I did end up binding the bust of the body with some self adhesive athletic wrap to give it a more petite silhouette. Hope this helps!

That's cool because she was alot more slender in return.., good idea. Oddly enough Leia was two inches taller than Boushh actually was. Star wars fact for the day...
