Oh dont get me wrong,i like Rocky 1 the most,i enjoy them all,just saying that AS A KID it was more easy to like the Hero type in a action packed movie,besides...which kid didnt like Hulk Hogan back then

As a child, I used to like the way his face looked when he put the teeth protector in his mouth. It's weird how kids can be!

Hmm, was Ivan Drago's entrance music the same as the music for Unicron in the Transformers movie?, they sound soo much the same lol.

Vince DiCola,that made "Training Montage" and "War" for Rocky 4 and possibly the Drago Entrance music,made the Transformers Movie Score.

Same except I put 6 right after 1 in my books. 1 and 6 are the best.

Yeah, I agree that 1 and 2 are kinda like 1 long story, but 1 and 6, as far as story, are my favorites, but liking a story doesn't play into collecting persay, that's about visuals, which is why the flag shorts it the look for me, but old Rocky is just so inspirational to me, that's why I'd have zero hesitation getting a figure of it.

That's it, 3 and 4 are great for fun and cool fights, 1 2 and 6 are good for story.

I do watch it over and over again, sort of. Every night before I go for my jog, I watch the Rocky 6 and Rocky 2 training montages to get fired up and listen to Rocky music while I run. Something so silly, yet so inspiring, when I think of reaching my weight loss goal, I imagine being at the top of the steps celebrating like Rocky, and of course the ultimate victory cry, 'yo Adrian, I did it!"

Vince DiCola made all of the "orchestral" music for Rocky IV, and he's very stylized, his Rocky and TF scores could almost be intermixed and feel right in either movie. I really wish I knew why Conti wasn't used, I imagine it was because he couldn't for some reason since he was right back for 5 and 6.

yeah youre right,i was just referring to what was on the Rocky 4 soundtrack

Yeah, the music works in both movies, but it's interesting how they can work for both. It's like trying to put John Williams' Star Wars score into JAWS and vice versa, somehow it works for DiCola. I've never heard of him scoring anything but Rocky and TF though, so maybe that's a pattern

Probably not important for you guys,but Tommy Morrison(Tommy Gunn) is in the Roster for the next PS3/Xbox 360 game Fight Night Round 4.

I know that he tested Positive for HIV in 1996 and kept testing himself and got both negative and positive results,much back and forth and he lost the license but got it back later in 1996 i believe and fought a couple of matches and retired.

Since 2007 he has done MMA and still does today in a small organization,nothing big.

There are stories about Drugs and drinking too after his retirement back in 1996.

Part 6 is my favorite and part 2 is my second favorite. Part 1 is my third favorite. part 3,4 and 5 were very lackluster but are forgiven for being Rocky

I'd say Rocky 3+4 are my favorite..loved Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago..they just seemed more Iconic to me.

I love them all,can`t pick one favourite.1,2 and 6 are good in their own way,so is 3 and 4 that are very different than 1,2 and 6.But I feel more attached to Rocky 4 as i grew up watching this movie,best Training scenes in ANY Sports movie ive ever seen.

I still don`t want to get my hopes up just yet...there was 1 person at this board that said he had the magazine and said Rambo AND Rocky was confirmed,just 1!

it might be just re-makes,Rambo 2 makes sense because of the body,but not Rocky as we only got figures from Rocky 3 and 4.
I was thinking...Drago turned out awful,and i mean REALLY AWFUL...Oversized,awful muscle body and the headsculpt doesn´t make things better either.

You think they might re-make Drago with both yellow and red fight gear and Robes?

I'm starting to think now that HT's has guys like Kojun on board "DX" will be the new official HT's product from now on. I don't even think its a matter of having a regular and then a "Deluxe" piece anymore.

I don't think these would be remakes. I don't take HT word for word all the time as there's reoom for translation issues.

My impression with MMS DX is that it's HT figures to the extreme, be it technology, detail, or loaded with accessories, which is why I'm thinking Rambo 4 with 50 cal gun, that gun, done correctly, is much bigger than a traditional 1/6 accessory, yet quite relevant to a figure from the movie, particularly as it'd likely be a figure dressed like the final mission.

As for Rocky, I think either a 2 pack or again, a very encompassing figure, like Rocky 1 with street and fight clothes.
