Thanks for posting that pic. For me, that's one of the most iconic images of Star Wars -- brings me back to being 7-years-old and being caught up in the magic and excitement of the movie, the toys, the trading cards etc.

For me this photo "defines" Star Wars.

I have to say it has been a very cool experience meeting all you fellow freaks and I feel I know some of you well and enjoyed every minute of it so thanks for putting up with me. The Greeks said "If you don't live your life with passion, you haven't lived at all" or something like that but it certainly holds true here. Let's face it we are ALL passionate Sideshow Freaks and that's what makes this board THE Best Board in the Galaxy.

Red Carpeting? Lord nooo!!!! I wanted to shoot Han against a red background so I took a whole bunch of pics against a red towel draped over a sideshow box. Then when I was trying to whittle it down to one or two I realized my next post was my 2000th, sooo...

I tried to come up with something a little extra special for you guys as I do this kind of stuff (writing features) for a living (LOL). Anyway, that's why it came out in script form with a "Red Moss Arroyo" setting in a series of pics Hope you liked it...

That red carpet reminds me of the opening to the original Dawn of the Dead.

Oh well, got Han today and agree with everyone, online pics do not due him justice. He is no where near as puffy as the pics show, he's pretty dang close. The hair paint could be better though, the paint doesnt go all the way to the hairline, I'll be fixing that. As for the tight holster, I just made a new notch and not bother user the one provided by SS.

Out of the 5 figures released, I would put him 4th.

Although I do live and work in Hollywood, I'm proud to say the John Holmes plush red carpet 70s era has passed.

Thanks guys! I just had to pull these two guys out and pose them with Han. I should have added Chewie too -- made a whole BESPIN scene in my kitchen.

Both Vader and Fett were made over a year ago by my good friend Hurricane. You've seen his amazing work -- truly awesome. Fett and Vader are my most treasured SW pieces. They're just so wicked in person. Its exciting to finally show them off a bit to people who care.
