Official 12" Bespin Han Solo Image Thread

Some things need to be viewed from the proper distance to truly appreciate them.

These up close shots aren't showing Han in the appropriate way. The eyelashes look good sitting on the shelf at 1/6 scale. Blown up giant sized on our monitors they don't look so hot.

You're very right! Any close-up shots usually make the figure look worse. I am happy with mine!

Got mine yesterday. He looks great. As I was playing with his belt, I accidently unglued the back clasps, so it came undone. I was able to glue it back to normal. He looks a million times better in person. His head looks in scale with the rest of his body. Not sure why online pics make him look so out of scale. I asked my wife if it looked like Solo. She said yup, just like him. When I did the same with Anakin, she said he looked funny. My wife is not a SW fan, but she always criticizes my toys if there are any flaws...well with Solo, she liked him.

I know and most here do but you have a few that don't get this when it comes to these figures that no matter how good you are taking photos they always look better in person.

Hey! Folks! Nice photos! What a funny SWING set of photos!

Yes! This figure keep up the excitement cause most of us disappoint on the set of official pics at first place but while we finally received the actual stuff and pose it, we find the accuarcy on different angles.

Except the redressing and iron of jacket magic thing I have mentioned before. Today I find out another stunning thing that keep up the excitement! This time, might need some little paint job.

Well...we might all forgive that the Mainland Chinese factory workers wounldn't paid too much attention on facial painting. Same case as to the Anakin figure, the eyebrow painting of this Han figure is too thick and way out from the original eyebrow sculpt, I refer to as "The Japanese Animate Hero Style Eyebrow"

Before I actually did modification of painting, I test my color scheme on my photo shot on this Han figure. What I did is lightening the eyebrow color and thinning the eyebrow outline of the original paint.

The result of pic? Well...again...I don't want to be subjective again...please refer to the below picture and you folks decide whether it is worth or not by actually did some modification of eyebrow painting on this figure:

I guess it could be Chewie's father. Popbacca!

My Chewie is definitely stocky compared to the real Chewbacca. But it will have to do until Sideshow makes a better one.
