hey i read somewhere that someone had a print collection either displayed or in a print storage book/system. would someone have a link for that??
just curious to see it.
thanks
I always love how you insult everyone, it's so breathtaking. I know why you said that and really could care less that you had your own agenda for getting it. There are others on here that want it as well that might not have seen it, deal and move on. If you want to be rude about it, I will get the damn print just to spite you not caring how much it goes for either.

It was The ill Jedi, but I can't remember where I saw it. You might send him a PM.
All you need is a Itoya art portfolio. It's what I keep my anime cels in. You can buy them off of ebay or from an art site.
So I insulted you by saying that you don't understand why it would suck for other people here to be posting live ebay auctions for the whole forum to see? If you got insulted by that, then you probably know what you did wrong.
Yes please do get the print to spite me. I'd love that. are you pms'ing btw?
Are those safe for photographs as well? I'm looking for something to store my autographed photos in. I'm concerned about humidity, etc.
Yeah, they're perfect for anything. They're acid free too. I've been using them for over five years and nothing bad has happened. I live in Louisiana and we have horrible humidity, and the books work fine. My cels aren't cheap and the only other thing I would consider storing them in is official archival storage products, but that's way too expensive.
I got mine from other cel collectors that didn't need them. But you can buy them sometimes at a Hobby Lobby. Online you can get them here, https://www.dickblick.com/products/itoya-original-art-profolio/ and they're really cheap.
Yeah $14 is right but the link I gave you is cheaper, and that's where other cel collectors buy theirs from.
Thanks for that info! This sounds like something I need. Can you give me a rough idea on what these cost?
Are these common to find in craft stores? There's one in town, but I'm not sure if they carry these. Is there any place in particular that you recommend buying from? (I noticed you mentioned Ebay, etc.)
If you want the ultimate protection, I recommend using mylar or mylite sleeves. Acid free doesn't necessarily equate to the stability of the plastics used in most portfolios (including the ones manufactured by Itoya). Over time, these plastics begin to break down and emit chemicals that can speed up the aging process of paper products. Mylar is the only product that has been proven to remain inert for over a hundred years.
Who would you recommend buying the Mylar/Mylite sleeves from? And how much do they run approximately per sleeve?
