So is the lightsaber a different kind of plastic than Maul? I all the pictures so far her's looks more translucent... similar to what Medicom produced.

I was wondering the same thing first time I saw the shots.

Looks like a deep garnet red color as well.

Can someone verify this?

Just opened Asajj and the I can say the lightsaber is definitely closer to Medicoms than the SS saber we are all used to.

Its not frosted at all. Its clear.

She is pretty awesome, tho i have to point out that the head is hollow/squeezable and thus feels a bit cheaper than we're used to.

Dont know if you can really tell but the saber material is almost identical to Medicom's (ergo Hasbro's as well).
