I was wondering the same thing first time I saw the shots.
Looks like a deep garnet red color as well.

Just opened Asajj and the I can say the lightsaber is definitely closer to Medicoms than the SS saber we are all used to.

Does the saber have a more clear than frosted look?
Its not frosted at all. Its clear.
Gboy its still more pointed at the end than the medi-sabers.
She is pretty awesome, tho i have to point out that the head is hollow/squeezable and thus feels a bit cheaper than we're used to.
Yep mine has been out for delivery since 12:26 A.M.
I gotta admit that I prefer the completely clear sabers to the way SS does them. I hope it becomes a standard.
Well they gotta be solid. They can't really make a "light" saber.

Big surprise here is that the hands are attached in a way more similiar to a hot toys body.. I'll post pics in a few minutes.

Dont know if you can really tell but the saber material is almost identical to Medicom's (ergo Hasbro's as well).
