How about that Han Solo in Carbonite?

Barring any "We just found 100+ pieces in the shadowy gloom of our warehouse, so we're offering them on 2nd Chance!" pop-ups, I'm honestly surprised this piece has remained sold out. Especially with the economy and the price.

Anyhoo I still haven't seen a really good comparison photo of the Sideshow with the Hasbro. Anyone?

I have to agree with that...it is an expensive piece..and I was hoping for one of those "second chance" opportunities where I could use a gift card on it or somthing....time will tell...

And I'm just feebly attempting to maintain some civility in here.

Let's just DROP IT and get back to posting/discussing pictures Han Solo in Carbonite...please?

I also don't think Boba Fett rode around on a black disc with the words STAR WARS written on it.

Jeez. It's in the EU, pix. Don't you know anything about Star Wars.

I'll have some comparison shots of the Hasbro and SS Han tonight. I think if somebody wanted to, they could make a really nice diorama wall and use the Hasbro Han and be happy with it.

One thing that SS could have done to make this a nice stand alone piece and worth the price is to have added lights. Specifically a little spotlight right above Han. That would have added a ton of value and wow factor to it.

I agree but it also would have added at least $75 to an already expensive piece. I'm sure it's something they debated about for awhile.

I just posted the lighting question to "Ask Sideshow" to find out if they considered it or not.

Well, what I was saying was that if SS had included the lights at the $200 range it would have made it a better value not that they should have included the lights and added to the price.

I just got my replacement from AlterEgo. NO CHIPS this time, and in perfect shape! I didn't bother examining the base.. because really, i'm sure it is fine. That thing is packed tight as hell, and i just don't feel like opening it up if i'm not displaying it right now. But the block was the most important thing to me, and it looks PERFECT. Not a chip or rub in sight.

So happy! Such great service on their part. Didn't have to spend a dime to get the old one back to them and get the new one sent out. Was very quick service too. Thanks for the suggestion you guys, i appreciate the feedback you gave me!

Now i just have to get a place with enough space to actually take my stuff out of the boxes again and put it on display! :(

Well guys here's mine .........
