He's not 'clearly not 1/6th' - even if he is a couple of mm short, it's not like you can tell 'cos he isn't displayed at the same height as other 1/6th figures......a couple of mm doesn't bother me! :D

Well it's just surprising, I held my Bespin Han next to it and if you account for some things on the figure being oversized like the boots, they're pretty much identical, I'd say the carbonite Han is a perfect 1/6 scale.

Well, having a figure to compare it to might be the reason why. Oversized or not, it's still a physical 1:6 release of Han Solo (though I've since swapped mine to ROTJ which compliments the sculpt better). Which then leads one to ask, should Sideshow have stuck with what they did? Or adjust it to fit in within the continuity of figures they've already released?

I think for accurracy, it'd be better just to take precision measurements of the actual Han in Carbonite, which I would guess they may have been able to do, and just shrink it, rather than all the math to figure out if you scale it up to match Han figures. The difference I see between the Carbo Han and a Han figure is so small, I don't see any issue, which is why I'm a bit confused to see it being discussed like it's a significant difference.

Thanks for confirming.:lol

Listen, I'm a stickler for proportions with these things and the carbonite block is not out of scale.

But when it's intended to be posed with Boushh, I can understand the concern if he's a bit smaller than Sideshow's 1:6 Bespin Han. And given that things like the size of aerators on a Stormtroopers Helmet and the unpainted gray tabs of Stormtrooper shoes are critiqued, I honestly don't find it all that surprising that a minor size discrepancy like this would be an issue.

He's plenty in scale with Boushh, I'd say the size difference is less than a cm between Bespin Han and carbo Han.

Got mine 2hrs ago!! I'm LOVING it! :D Thankyou AlterEgo - 4 day shipping to Australia for this bad boy? BRILLIANT!

On a side note though, the carbonite block is so hard to get off once it's on! Definately leaving him on for a while! Now to find an appropriate clip-on spotlight........

Unboxing of #804/2000 - sorry for the crappy/grainy quality (took them with an iPhone 'cos a friend has taken my camera on his holiday)
