Is this peice worth it?

Personally I'd say no.

I pre-ordered it, but cancelled.

I was looking at one in Forbidden Planets shop the other day and I couldn't help thinking... Should have been plastic and £50- £60

or, plastic with lights at about £90

at £145Gbp it ain't all that.

Is this peice worth it?

Depends on your personal feelings towards the whole set.

Some people feel it's little improvement over that Hasbro slab and don't care about the wall and for them it's not really worthwhile.

Some people, like myself, love the Jabba's Palace scenes and Han in Carbonite and are building up a display of Jabba related items and absolutely love having this piece in the mix.

If you really like the whole set visually and feel like it would add a lot to your collection, I think it's worth the money, but if you're iffy on it, you'll probably be dissappointed with the expense.

like everything else in the SS jabba set, this is available for less than retail - about $150US right now, and I would suggest even less in due time.

The Hasbro one looks better to me and its more in scale too. The Sideshow one is too small and the paint work on it is too monotone.

one sold for $153.50 about 1 week ago on ebay. I have seen some go for a bit more and some for a bit less. Patience is the key.

I've never actually bought from them before, but Supernaturalart.com is having a 30% off sale. They have a few Sideshow things, including the Han in Carbonite for what ends up being $126. UPS shipping seems quite reasonable. I'm very tempted, but I don't think I can swing it right now. Thought someone else might be interested.

Put it in your cart.

Wow, that is very tempting right there. Hmmm...

Very tempting indeed, I just picked one up. Its $80.00 cheaper than Sideshows site, plus the shipping is very fair. Wasnt sure it was worth $200, but for $126 I feel it is.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

SOLD OUT FROM SIDESHOW!!

Yep, this piece has finally sold out. I guess I'm not getting my chance at this piece for a percentage off.

If you'd been paying attention during Black Friday, you could've snatched it up from an online retailer or two for about $125.

What are the odds this gets rereleased with a carbon freeze chamber environment? I think the extra Jabba wall threw me off.
