I apologize for asking a noob question:

Do companies that make 1/6 scale figures regularly release costume & accessory packs? It seems kind of a waste to buy two versions of Harry/Ron/Sirius when the heads and bodies are the same. On the other hand, I can also see how selling costumes/accessories by themselves would not be nearly as profitable as selling complete figures.

Thanks!

Sadly, they do not. The military figure makers used to do this more often. Kaustic Plastik does this occasionally, but it is more in the manufacturer's interest to make more money on an existing sculpt/body and throw a new outfit on it. Hot Toys does this all the time.

Alas, that's too bad.

Thanks very much for the quick response! :)

Are they skipping POA? Why.. I liked Hermoine in the pink hoodie and jeans, IMO that's when Emma went from cutie to beautiful and Harry looked good too

Well, Sirius is from PoA, though they've been jumping around.

I wonder if Voldemort will be in production/stock when Star Ace releases DH1 or DH2 versions of the trio?

I wonder if Warner and JK Rowling are exercising a great deal of control over the licensing. Star Ace and Funko are releasing the same figures at the same time. The next wave of Vinyl Pops include TriWizard Harry, Yule Ron, Yule Hermione, OOTP Sirius, and Draco in Slytherin robes. There was a Quidditch Harry in Wave 1 as a store exclusive in some countries, and I imagine that Quidditch Draco will treated similarly. (Dobby and a Dementor are in Wave 2 as well.)

A tiny Dobby would be cute. I loved Tonner's Dobby. I'm selling all my Tonner dolls but I'm debating keeping him. He's a nice piece.

:slap And this was the last definite buy from me.

It does look good, just would've preferred them to get rooted done right on a character with all that hair.

It's a fantastic sculpt, none-the-less.

I really liked the original rooted beard, but if it was going to end up like Dumbledore's beard then I'm all for sculpted frankly. :lol I'm not a huge fan of sculpted and rooted hair being joined together (I think it often looks messy and unnatural) but that doesn't look too bad really. I'd need some closer pics of the head to decide though. :)

the rooted beard looked very cool i thought, but this looks nice too.
