I strongly doubt that it counts for the new game ONLY,HT wouldn't let such a big opportunity go to waste.Fans will go nuts over Snake specially from each game and i know we will get at least 3 Snakes.

as much as i'd like to see mgs1 and 2 figures, i'm not gonna see them anytime soon. the line is gonna start with snake eater first. so unless they just gonna do the boss and naked snake only from that line, not gonna see any from mgs1/2 just yet. cuz when people talk about hot toys, not many would know them for their videogame series, it's for their mms. again, i'd like them to release at least 5-6 mgs figures in 2011, but imho i don't think so. you never know though, since this is a major license, hot toys may change their way on the videogame series and surprise us.

Ideally I would like MGS3 first, then MGS2, then MGS4. Not overly fussed about MGS1, don't lynch me!!

Look, I LOVE MGS obviously, but if I had to choose one game not to have figures from, it would be that one.

I started off on MGS2 and MGS3 is my favourite, but I will happily take any HT make.

Its a new game a new Snake Suit its looks really close to the peace walker version. I have the play arts and its nice at $50 its 24 cm and really nicely done this will be good provided they stay away from rubber.

It's not a new suit. It was already in the PS2 version of Snake Eater.

Obviously Hot Toys listens to the fans, and from what i can see everyone one unanamously wants a MGS1 and 2 Snakes.

what might be iffy is MGS4 Snake, but if we do get one ill gladly chuck out my Medicoms ugly ass head sculpt out the window(and we'd get MKII)

but what i wanna know is whos down for a Pliskin!

If we get female characters my picks are Olga, Meryl(in snake suit) and Fortune.

No one seems to be mentioning Old Snake. Besides the MGS 3 figures that we all would like, it would be great if down the line, Hot Toys decides to release their own version of Old Snake, since the Medi one was... utter crap.

Ahhhh. It's all clear now. I think had you played MGS on the ps1 first, you would be in with the rest of us who thought playing as Raiden was a bad joke, and the sequel in general was pretty lackluster. If you didn't play the first game first, it's easy to see how legendary a character like Snake would appear. I'm not too sure that playing as Raiden further mystified Snake for those of us coming off MGS. At least for me it didn't.

Totally. I can completely see how playing as Raiden was a kick in the nuts if you were born and raised on the original. My brother was the one who got me into the saga, when he first got SOL. I used to get home from school, rush into his room, bang on the game and see how quickly I could beat the tanker level with no alerts before he came home from work. Good times.


I am indeed shocked you put MGS3 before MGS4.

i can see that happening in the span of 4 years. even then prolly not everyone on that list. is it confirmed to be a master license or license per game? cuz until we find that out, it's all wishful thinking.
