as cool as that is (the DVD chest set), I think it's a waste. What about when the next movie comes out? then the 6th? a whole new box set again? or have 4 Pirate movies in an awesome chest, with 2 by there lonesome?

I agree. I thought the same thing about all the Harry Potter box sets that came out when every movie came to DVD. Don't know why people buy stuff like that if they plan on owning all the movies at some point.

It's a cool set and if I didn't already have them separately I'd pick this up.

What I do is buy each movie from a series as they are released. Then I can sell them when the full box-set comes out.


Although I usually keep both.

No.

I will buy each individually packaged movie as it comes out. Never the partial box sets. Once the full box set comes out then I can sell the individual copies of the movies. However,if the individual copies have extras the box set doesn't have, I'm tempted to keep both.

Yeah I never understand why companies do those partial box sets...and it even baffles me more to the fact that PEOPLE BUY THEM!!!

I'm glad OST will be out soon, now that i am past the buildup of a new Pirates and making comparisons to the first 3, i've warmed up a lot more to it and look forward to watching it again, hope there are cool bonus materials like the previous releases.

Yeah, I only saw it once in theaters so I'm looking forward to seeing it on Blu. That boxset is pretty cool though.

i didnt get why it was getting bad reviews, it was a fun pirates movie i really enjoyed it and im looking forward to getting it on BR. on another note when should we expect in hand pics from HK....i know that JS isnt shipping for a while i was just wondering what the usual timeframe is for the pics to show up.

It got bad reviews because it does have issues, like 2 and 3, but like those, i can look past the film making issues and enjoy it. For me, what hurt my initial view of it were the differences from the first 3, i went in looking for and expecting certain things and it was different and for awhile i held that against it. Now i just take it for what it is and it's enjoyable as any of them.

As for HK pics, who knows, we really don't have a firm release, chances are they'll just pop up one day and someone here will post the photos.

I really enjoyed this film.

I went to see it with my step dad. He had never seen a POTC movie before. After we were leaving the theater I asked him if he enjoyed it?

His reply: "That ____ is awesome!"

It's out mate? Well it is here anyway, for a couple of weeks or so.

I saw it in the cinema at the end of its run after hearing all the negative press. I was presently surprised, enjoyed it a lot. It doesn't look as cool as the others and is seriously lacking in high concept action but I thought it was a good laugh. I watched it on 3D blu-ray last week and enjoyed it again.

Compared to Transformers 3 this is a Picasso. I don't get the hate that some have for this one.

same here. I went in expecting it to be a lot like it's predecessors and with it not, I was very disappointed initially to the point I canceled my PO for this figure. but when i watched it again a couple weeks later, i appreciated it for what it was and POed this figure again. I still hate that there wasn't a big boat battle but overall, like you said, I enjoy just as much as the others.
