Thanks for the tips. Now how the hell do you keep the button fastened on the Predator two figure. The belt button that is.

Most likely the button isnt "hooked" on into the hole totally. I suggest trying to push the "female" part with a small rigid object (i.e. a small flathead screw driver, tip of nail) around the button until its flushed against the belt.

I'm sure you already know this, but go extra easy on that fastener anyway! I got mine together right out of the box with no problem, but when I removed the belt a week or two later and was putting it back on again... pop! Broke the friggin' post off! Other people had trouble with it too. I ended up having to drill through the post and then cementing a metal rod through the sucker just to get the belt back on again! Sheesh.

At least the AvP Preds' belt fasteners were more durable! I've removed theirs countless times and still nothing has ever broken off!

I might just leave it un buttoned. You can't see it anyways on the shelf. It is just something that only I know. It is kinda annoying.

Not a bad idea at all. If it doesn't bother you leaving it undone, then it's a lot better than having it break off on you! I wish they'd made it just a tad looser. I can't understand why it had to be so tight in the first place. His chest armour is a tight fit too. I ended up have to file away some plastic under his armpits just to get it to close!

Don't get me wrong, tho, I think this figure is still the greatest thing since sliced bread, no doubt about it.

Pfft, that's nothing compared to the troubles Ive had with the combi-stick. I'd elaborate on it, but it'd probably take up the whole page.

Probably the best Pred so far. Can't wait till HTs shows off their P1 Predator!....

I'd suggest using Glue Dots to fix that. I did that with mine and now it holds the combi-stick much better.

They don't glue it on, they just hold it on like glue, but you can take them off if you ever want to.

Damn straight! Back when I first got my Ancient Asia Predator, his mask wouldn't stay on. I picked up some Glue Dots, put them on the cheek area of the mask and put it on his face; stayed on MUCH better after that.

Yeah. Basically, if you want to get them off you just have to peel them off.

Pretty handy, if I do say so myself.

I just watched some of my favorite scenes from Predator 2 and tried to see if I could squeeze a few poses out of my HT P2 figure. The photographs are nothing to write home about, but I'm going to take some better ones once I get my work space set up. I also want to repaint this sucker first.

Anyways, I wanted to see if I could duplicate the part where he unclips the smart-disc and winds up before launching it at Keyes. The armour made it a little hard to get a more dynamic twist of the torso and restricted how far I could bend his arms. I think it's pretty close, but please judge for yourself...

Here's my X-mas present...

I've come to realize that his eyes are WAY too deeply set(I also got "The Winston Effect", so I can make this statement with some surety).However, as I can't think of a way to change it, I'll live with it...

And they said it couldn't be done.Actually, it can, if you're careful...

This is a copy of the mask from the Billiken kit. Do you think I ought to pull a mold, in case it fits the Elder as well as it does this guy?

I finally got around to putting mine together last night. Excellent figure, but of course I broke the damn clasp like almost everyone else... I was being super careful too, but that thing is brittle as hell.

Ah well, maybe I'll try some fix on it someday. Definitely a fantastic figure, and I'm glad to have him with the bunch. Now I just need the P2 elder and I'll be caught up with HT stuff. I seriously can't wait for some Predator 1 and Alien goodness!
