Heat! Use heat! I had to really soften my belts and parts to get anything to lock on this guy. I just dropped whole parts in almost boiled/microwaved water in a cup. Worked like a dream. Hate any parts breaking...:monkey2

Probably the worst thing you can do is try to put them together in a cold room, or right out of a cold box. You're almost guaranteed to snap something off then. I learned that lesson the hard way. Heat is the only way to go, as Les said.

Heat is good for achieving more complex poses too, especially when you need the armour to flex a certain amount for positioning the arms or legs. The beauty of it is that you can always reheat and get it back to its original shape and position, 'cause the plastic has memory.

Absolutely. When I heated up the P2 Elder's leg (calf)armor, they went right on. I mean I had it so soft it was like soft rubber when I put it on his legs, over the netting. Try to do that without heat....well...I can't imagine. You just couldn't I don't think. Belts too. Although, I ended up cutting and extending those belts a bit for mine. The P2 hero works fine. I did superglue the tab on the belt though. I find it helps hold it, and it is removable from the plastic if you later want to change him out. I just wanted all the help I could get with that one. That belt it tough. Chest armor latch also.

Yeah I can't get my belt to buckle and the figure is allready put together. I should have thought about boiling it.

Yup. Those last two you mentioned were a real pain! I haven't used any glue yet, but I did file away a little plastic under his armpits, where it doesn't really show, to get his chest armour to fit a little better. I put it back on and slapped a thick rubber band around it, then heated it all around to help it conform to his torso better. That seemed to do the trick. It may loosen up again over time, but I'll just rinse and repeat if that happens.

Wel I haven't had any trouble with these items, mind just be carefull when building and have ahot bowl of water ready for those joints :D build and then sit back and admire.

Predator: "Did you just grab my ass?"

Seriously, once you know what to expect and how to deal with any issues you may or may not encounter, these are just incredibly cool toys that nobody has ever done like this before. I haven't had any problems bad enough to turn me off to these amazing figures. I doubt that will ever happen.

Yep, one thing you need is PATIENCE forcing something in place will only break it. Grab a drink and sit down and take your time is the best way to go

A little off topic for a sec, but I wonder if anyone has considered making some custom left hands for the P2 figure, like out of resin or something. The hands from the other HT Preds don't match, unfortunately, but this guy could really use a few more.

The splayed left hand looks good, but it's pretty limited. He at least needs another spear-gripping hand, and a net gun-firing hand would be good, too, since the net gun is detachable and has the trigger sticking out. A pair of fists wouldn't be bad either, especially for use with the blade gauntlet.

It doesn't look like the battle-damaged edition comes with any new hands, so I guess we're out of luck, unless somebody could sculpt some new ones. Anyone else interested?

Sure, why not. I'd just like to have some more options, is all. :D His gauntlet blades are a little too curved, which sort of limits posing with the spear or smart-disk. In the movie he had the blades completely retracted, so I just took them out. Looks a lot better that way, imo.

Yeah, I managed to bend the blades back so they were movie accurate. Don't know why they had them curved.

And yeah, he needs some extra hands. I'd be content with a left spear-gripping hand and a right and left fist hands(I really wish HTs would makes the fist hands).
