[SIZE="7"]Hi there , does anyone know on predator 2 damaged or regular version, if you can pivot the left shoulder blade (non netting arm) in other words, twist it in or out, I'm having a problem trying to twist it out, the right arm is fine

I noticed
alot of pics where you don't see the left shoulder pivoting outwards, I see the whole left arm flexed outward, to the side, but hardly any showing the shoulder twisting outward.

I would think since the right arm shoulder blade pivots in and out, I don't see why the left one should be able to do the same

any suggestions on how I can get it to pose that way:

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but it could be the shoulder cap armour that's restricting movement. You might try sliding it down the bicep and then positioning the shoulder, then moving the pad back into place. Don't know if that helps or not, but might be worth a try...?

what I mean is ]does the actual left shoulder or shoulder joint with or without the armor on can turn or rotate in or out like the right shoulder does, (ie: the round shoulder joint above the left bicep, does that twist in or out

Also I noticed someone took the claws out of the gauntlet, I did so too, but they said you can reattach the gauntlet cover using double stick tape, well how or what are the steps to apply this method or what does anyone have a better method to make sure you can take off and recover the gauntlet so it stays on

yes both shoulders can do all of that.. your figures shoulder joint must be a little rough thats all.. my p2 right shoulder joint was that way.. i very carefully forced the joint to move.. listen, the joint could break if you force it too hard..these figures are pretty fragile, so keep that in mind.

i havent tried removing the guantlet, but im sure someone on these boards can help you with that.

hope this helps
Cheers!

okay, thanks, does anyone else have this problem, I need to know, because I'm still having a problem with the left shoulder

also, has anyone try to get the gauntlet cover problem solved after removing the blades

No, mine all moved fine, some restriction because of the armour, but the base body moved fine. I'd advise a little heat then VERY CAUTIOUSLY push it round. I remember having a similar problem with my ED-209's feet, I applied a very small drop of olive oil, left it to permeate, hair-dryered for a few seconds and 'Hey Presto' it moved.

Looks like you got some good advice on the shoulder movement problem. As far as removing the blades from the wrist gauntlet go, it's relatively easy. All you need to do is remove the gauntlet from his arm, retract the blades as far as they will go, then use the tip of a screwdriver or similar tool (I used a dental spatula) to carefully lift the blade cover off of the gauntlet. Here are some pics to show you what I mean. Hope this helps. :D

Pry off the blade cover at rear end.

Do the same at the front.

Separate the two parts.

Remove the blades.

Put the blade cover and gauntlet back together w/2-sided tape, etc.

Here's a slight variation on the normal theme; the basic HT Pred 2, but with one of Nosferatoys' resin helmets. Most of them don't fit very well, but thankfully the one that mattered was a perfect fit!

Man, that is one freakin' unbelievably cool looking mask. I'd love to have one of those! :monkey5

How do you apply the double sided tape do you have pics of that or directions

Sorry, I don't have any pics of that at the moment. I actually used two little pieces of modeling clay to stick mine down, but I'd cut the two-sided tape in very thin strips and lay two pieces lengthwise along the top of the gauntlet on either side of the divider that goes between the blades. Then just stick the cover down on top of the tape strips. That should hold it well enough. :D

Got mine yesterday. I have two problems with mine that I can't seem to fix; wondering if anyone else has these issues? Firstly, the disc holder on his belt comes detached a lot, and secondly, the medikit refuses to stay on his back. Any ideas?

Take the hairdryer to the leg holster and make sure the circular ridges under the smart-disc line up with the grooves in the holster. Line it up, then press evenly all around the disc and it should stay in place.

I have no idea why your med-kit won't stay on. Are you sure the little tab on the bottom of the kit is engaging the slot completely? I think maybe you have to push in on it slightly and slide it down until it clicks into place. That how it fits on mine. Hope this helps.

i too have these problems, apart the ones who everyone has

in fact i'm a disaster , mine pred2 should be a disaster...

i neither haven't understand how much the disk opens yet ( ever the infamous fear of breakage 4 somethin' )

It's not that the disc won't stay attached to the holder; the entire thing comes off the belt! Very frustrating. Does yours have something holding it on?

Okay, that's another story. If yours has come off then you'd best look carefully for the small round piece of plastic that holds the holster unit onto the tab thing with a hole in it that's part of the belt. You're looking for a little flat round plug thing with a pin on one side that fits through the back of the tab. It should be gold colored, about the size of a pea. The pin side goes into a hole in the back of the holster unit. You'd best remove the whole belt for the operation, it will be very difficult to fix otherwise.

Maybe the little plug popped out while you were putting the belt on. Need to find that small part first. When you do, press the hole in the tab over the circular projection on the back of the holster, then glue the pin on the plug back into the hole. Make sure the holster unit can still rotate freely. Hold it in place until the glue sets up and leave it for a little while before you put the belt back on the figure.

If you still have problems, try to give me a detailed description and I'll do my best to help you fix it. The same thing happened to me several times with the leg armour piece on the other side. It was very annoying, but I finally got it to stay put!

Btw, using a hairdryer on the armour parts to soften them up really make assembly easier, and helps prevent problems like this from happening in the first place.

Ah, good to know! I noticed that the other side had a backer piece to keep it attached. I'll go back and see if I can find the missing piece.

so if i have understand well , yours come off the entire holstler, the piece of armor on the right leg...right?

Correct. The other side from the inside is flush, but apparently the piece that holds the holster onto the belt on the disc side is gone / lost. Hopefully I can find it; I remember hearing something drop when I was putting it together but couldn't find what it was!
