I can't believe there are no new Hulk pieces from SS. They have to be working on something don't they??? A HT piece will be outstanding. Most likely with a PF price tag.

Actually 20" tall! :horror

Simply double the feet, you get the inches tall a figure should be. 6' = 12"

Damn, you're right!! I think that would almost be to big though. He would be PF sized. Damn!!

Exactly, like I said, make a 12" Hulk and Abomination and do Banner the same and not worry about scale to one another or use the co-created child body and make scaled humans compared to Hulk. The more I think of it though, the more I'm not sure how much I'd want or would spend the money on an HT Hulk, based on past figure experience with them. The articulation on the musclar bodies for Rocky and Rambo are ok for those guys, but you couldn't really achieve the types of poses that really represent the Hulk. It'd have to be some all new method we haven't seen. If they're going to go to that trouble, maybe some solid plastic version with unnoticeable joints or something. Figure though, it'd probably be at least $150 for a Hulk, and if it's like current muscular figures it'd be essentially a statue. For an extra $100 I'd rather get a Sideshow Movie Hulk PF.

According to the marvel website, the Hulk is between 7' and 8' tall, so it would need to be about 14" or 15" tall. That way, it would fit in with my other figures just fine.

Hulk's height depends on the height of Blonsky, he's about 1.5 times the height of Blonsky, so if Blonsky's 6' tall, then Hulk is 9-10' tall, if he's about 5', he could be 7-8' tall.

Yeah, I see what you mean, as far as the movie version. I still would like to see him about 14"-15" tall though, that would be cool.

BTW, that, I believe, is and will be my favorite scene in the movie.

I'm definitely game for the end battle, I think it's going to be pretty sweet, 2 behemoths facing off, emotional drama with Betty, should be exciting.

YAHOO Movies has 2 more clips on their site, I couldn't find a direct link but it's easy to find stuff on Yahoo. One clip is Betty and Bruce meeting in the rain like the trailer and the other is a speech leading up to jumping out of the helicopter like you see in the trailer.

Well, I'm sure Blonsky is 6' tall, so that would most definitely make the Hulk around 10' tall. But I'm not all about posability with my figures. hell, at least until after the beginning of next year, I won't be able to display stuff anyways, as I have no room for shelves and stuff. But mainly, I would just display him in a pose like this picture:

Me too, but the muscular body can't do it, that's why I'm concerned about an HT Hulk, that pose embodies Hulk in my mind.

Really, that's barely even moving him around. That sucks!

Well, I guess we will see what's up when Wookster gets us some pics and whatnot from HT.

I would love a PF to look like that picture. Definite buy for me!!

Ya, it looks nice because of not joints, but poseability really suffers, you can do some decent posing for pictures, but for long term shelf posing, basic stuff is all you really can do without risk of ripping the rubber.

It that photo Blonsky's straightbacked and looking up. The Hulk is hunch a bit head cocked towards the chest which visually throws off the comparison. If the Hulk were standing straight up the height would right for Blonsky to be about 5'7" especially because The Hulk never walks fully upright.

Also, the commerical clip specifically says "10 feet tall, 1500 pounds even and green" and its Blonsky who says it.

Yup, if you stand Hulk upright in that photo, he'd be a good 4 feet taller, definitely not 7-8' feet tall. It's a good height I think, enough to have presence but not to a rediculous point like the 2nd stage of Ang's Hulk.

12 days !!!!

True, but just as important, 9 days until the score is available :rock The website now has an action sequence of music on it, and it's still Joe Harnell's Lonely Man theme from the 70's show, so sounds like maybe it'll be used for multiple purposes, which gives me comfort with the composer if he's talented enough to turn a song like that for multiple uses, I can't wait.
