Re: Killzone 2 review

I'm somewhat excited. The graphics look nice, but some aspects of the game irk me. One, the melee system is a bit weak; two, many reviews remark on how the controls can be sluggish and awkward; three, Nothing I've seen so far in all the footage up to now has shown me that the enemy AI is anything but moving bullet sponges. Speaking frankly, they look like idiots.

I'm not a detractor (just look at my avatar), I just want keep realistic expectations.

me too... i just hope the investment pays off for Sony. if not its gonna backfire bigtime. i can't see how it will fail though, especially with how promising it looks. seems to me most fanboys will overlook any problems the game has just to taunt the Gears fans on which one is better.
~~co-op MP is always welcome for me. however, i always end up playing at the random hours and never get a chance to meet up with any of my peeps.

I really don't expect this game to fail, sales-wise. It's just that I the hype-machine really built up a momentum that I'm worried the game can't keep up with.

I really want to be wrong, because the multiplayer looks badass. It's the single player that has me on the fence.

Sadly, I predict 360 fanboys to rip Killzone 2 apart...

There are several of those there (the 300 pound batman and stromies). Seeing people who take the time to put very detailed costumes together is kind of cool actually.
