I don't know enough about NECA Freddy figures to know if Ultimate Freddy was a reuse of parts or a new figure, but this looks like a repack of the original with articualation added a the knees and hips and possible more articulation at the elbows, the head scultps look about the same and other than the clean, no glasses head, neither really fits with what else is there unless you paint the shirt black. These just seems like a cheap cash in on hype from Genisys and reuse parts again.

Yeah, the only thing new on the ultimate Freddy was the new articulated legs, frowning head sculpt, and a few new accessories. Other than that, it was the exact same figure as the original release.

Exactly, with the non-BD grey T-shirt and the gloves this one can only be fully accurate to the Cyberdyne scenes - and I can't think of much potential for dramatic poses there that really need the added leg articulation. And I wouldn't dream of setting up a completely inaccurate look by using the Sunglasses head or the BD head. Kinda useless.

You guys know it won't be the Classic Sarah or T-1000:D

More than likely they'll make Botch Characters from the new Movie TG. I mean come On! Neca hasn't done a Sarah Connor figure because it wouldn't sell.......but if a Major Movie company is throwing money their way to promote TG.

Am I right or am I thinking too much?
I would definitely buy a classic Sarah.

If it comes with swap out flesh hands that can old the shotgun, then I suppose you'd be able to do a true Uncle Bob version, I might be tempted to spend the money if they do that, but so far from what we've seen, I get nothing new worth my money.

You're thinking too much :lol It's a T2 Sarah.

Maybe NECA plans on making his Harley.

You can make Cyberdyne and T2:3D basically.

I'm surprised they didn't do "Ultimate" variations. Like an ultimate pescadero, ultimate Steel Mill.

A more elaborately posed Battle Across Time maybe. He did do some running and jumping in that. Still not sure it's essential, what would I do with my current BaT figure then.

I was thinking, it would be great to get an ultimate T-800 Endoskeleton. It could be the new T1 sculpt and come with:

1. 2x Plasma Rifles (for dual-wielding action!)

2. 1 pair open hands.

3. 1 pair gun-holding hands

4. 1 pair fist hands

5. Plasma Canon/Minigun

6. Forearm in Cyberdyne glass container

7. CPU in Cyberdyne glass container.

8. A very large future war terrain base/stand with tons of skulls and debris sculpted on.

Having "Ultimate T2 Sarah Connor" confirmed has made my day.

I could see a few ultimate T1 figures following too.

Yeah man from Randy himself. Saw it on Pixel Dan's tour of the Neca booth.

Technically he didn't state which movie they would be from though. Having said that, I understand why anyone would assume it is T2 Sarah (and I hope it is) since he mentioned her and the T-1000 right after talking about the T2 Arnold. Video is below. Interesting part begins at around the 11:20 mark.

Excellent thanks guys. Yeah from that interview I would certainly take Randy to be talking about a T2 Sarah Connor - he specifically says ''which we've never never done before'' - they could never have made an Emilia Clarke Sarah Connor before so he is surely referring to Linda Hamilton.

That's great. And if she is in this Ultimate line then they'll probably combine into one figure what McFarlane spread into 3 separate ones. I assume she'll have that shotgun which the McFarlane one didn't have and also the ability for a wider leg-stance pose.

Also the Alien stuff looked even better in the video than in any stills. Even the '79 Ripley looked like Weaver I thought. Maybe it's a weird case where you have to see it in person although I don't normally subscribe to that.

As long as Sarah has a good hair down option ill be happy, the majority of her time in combat gear was that look and it's what i want to represent her. My old Kenner John Connor can stand in, finally, ill have a complete T2 collection to my liking.
