Big Bad Toy Store has the Genisys figures up for pre-order. So far it looks like there will be only 2 figures in the first wave:

1. Guardian T-800

2. Endoskeleton (but they already sold out of pre-orders, so you have to order the set of 2 to get it there)

So, apparently they were just put up for pre-order today and they are already sold out of the Endos. I'm sure they will probably get in more though...

The NECA Endo is one of the most saught after 7" NECA Terminator figures, especially the T1 reissue, much improved over the original T2 version. I'm sure people are jumping to get one, the T1 can go for $150 on eBay, I was very lucky to get mine in an auction with 3 other figures for retail price.

has this been confirmed? if yes, it's a major bummer. We already have the 3 - 7" figures already. Pretty stupid to release the same damn thing over and over again.

i've wanted an 18" Cyberdown Showdown for quite some time. The reason i ask, years back when the Predators shown at Toy Fair, they were 2-UPS and they were made into 1/4ish figures.

Yes Randy said it's 7 inches over on Twitter.

They deem it "ultimate" because of the more than normal amount of accessories (extra heads, weapons etc,), the special boxed packaging and the additional articulation, which in this case is fully articulated legs.

Yeah, the whole "ultimate" thing started with the Freddy Kruger figure, and it made sense with that character, but it doesn't really work with the T 800. Sunglasses with a grey shirt and gloves? BD head with a perfectly clean outfit? Madness!!

And still not existing in any official capacity as a toy - the ******* teargas launcher.
What is with the refusal by any toy company to make one of those for their T-800 figure?

No mention of the headsculpts being new so I assume they're not and I was wrong before.

If I buy this it's for completism only. I honestly don't see a need for it otherwise.

Couldn't give a crap about this one tbh, but a T1000 with a ton of options would be really cool, and potentailly a Sarah Connor too? Sign me up for those.

Teargas grenade launcher refuses to sell out and give it's license off it's likeness rights. It's really stubborn for some reason and doesn't want to be made into a toy.

So excited for the Ultimate T2 Sarah Connor! My poor Mcfarlane needs replacing ASAP!

Please do an ultimate Reese from 84:pray:

I preordered the T-800. They should include interchangeable hands because he didn't have gloves when he uses the shotgun....but whatever. Can't wait for the T-1000 and Sarah...I guess. I hope they make an "ultimate" T1 figure.

If it's like the original T2 T-800 figures (which this ultimate one looks identical to from the torso and head to the arms), then swappable hands would result in breakage. Those hand peg designs are the old ball joints, before the likes of the '89 Batman and T-1000 (which are meant to be swapped out). Those would break instantly of pulled.

Hell, my very first Cyberdyne Shootout shattered as soon as I opened it. :lol

For this Ultimate one, I preordered three. One to keep as is (Cyberdyne shoot out) and the other two to give the articulated legs to my Pescadero and Man or Machine. Hopefully these new heads are painted better. I know when they got to later waves like the T2:3D figure the paint got sloppy. I'll use the extra heads for my old ones if they're painted better.

Man, even the figure looks pissed :lol Well, that sucks then. I never bought any of the "old" T2 or T1 figures because I was waiting for fully articulated versions, so I'm not too familiar with those early T2 figures. Now, that they're milking the whole "ultimate" thing, I hope they revisit some of their old figures like, John McClane, Beetlejuice, and Chucky.

The only 6-7 inch Terminator figures I have are the old Kenner figures and the T3 from Mcfarlane, which are still my favorite in that scale, even though they don't move :lol I still think they look more like Arnold...a 58 year old Arnie. The Neca t800 looks a bit like a caricature, imo.

I imagine NECA wont go beyond a few Arnolds and endos for the Genisys line. Call me crazy but i wouldn't mind a Kyle and Sarah figure.

Really wondering if I'll even bother with this one. The added articulation has virtually no use since I'd pose it pretty much like the original figure anyway. It doesn't provide any new accessories and I already have an overabundance of what does come with it. I already accounted for every possible scene during the first round of Uncle Bobs NECA made and ultimately boxed a few of those away because I came to feel I had gone overboard and my shelf was looking cramped and too samey (even for my standards). So I just don't have much if any incentive here.

T-1000 and Sarah Connor would be a different story. Sarah obviously hasn't been made before. And all the old T-1000s broke or had warped legs that made him tip over. His stance, though a cool walking pose, really needed a stand.
