NECA collectors are stupid heads.

I'm not a "collector" of any one company really - whoever makes quality representations from my favourite licenses gets my business. It happens to be NECA and Hot Toys right now. It used to be McFarlane till they gave up on movie-related figures.

I bought the 7", they did and bang up job imo. It just depends what type of 12" you are after I suppose. I like having the real clothing and extra articulation ............ it depends on the price for me but I do want the NECA 12".

Me too. You see my figure is somewhat 100% custom anyway. The only thing left from the original (SS Version) is the shotgun. The body is a True Type, the clothing is Saturday Toys, the boots are from Monkey Depot and the sculpt was repainted.

Hell if I were to choose one with nothing presently in my collection I wouldn't pick the SS one. I'm going off of a decent sculpt but more importantly my finished custom. In a way we are kind of comparing apples to oranges.

i wish hot toys would just make their own arnold t800, the 1/6 scale figures ive seen from sideshow look like crap, no skin texture at all hot toys in my opinion is the far more superior company when it comes to produces 1/6 scale figures.

I recognised the clothes as probably the Saturday toys biker set alright - definitely better than the original clothes that came with the SS.

My SS figure has kept me by for 1/6th Arnie - after I bulked it up - but ultimately I'm not satisfied with having to customise things to make them look like what they're supposed to be in the first place and I was never thoroughly happy with the head because the hair isn't quite right and without the repaint he looks crosseyed. I will gladly replace him with this NECA 12"...still hoping it'll be in decent scale with other 1/6ths.

you guys can see the bullet holes on him …… the same as 7inch

I like this pose,so I will keep posing him like that

the sunglasses can take off if you do some little work,and you can see the eyes are not painted,so you can DIY again…… btw, no sound function including.

a little paint fault on the neck ……damn !

The Sideshow one is great but, looks like not getting a lick of sleep took its toll on the eyes on that sculpt and the hair looks like its more slicked back and not spikey like it should be..Neca got the hair right, the lips look good, the cold, dead-like expressionless face is there and it looks good on the Neca as well but, i am not going to really compare these as they are different classes of collectibles IMO..I like both for different reasons, SS came with better functional accessories and will fit on the 1/6th scale Harley Fat Boy i have for him, the Neca does not look like he would fit on it good with the solid molded legs.

sorry I have no 1/6 figure(I mean like hot toys or enterbay things) to compare now.the only 1/6 I have is C.S.M from X-files.it locked in a case ……
so I put a Spawn on his side ……

I think the likeness on this figure is better from the side, rather than straight on!

After seeing the last picture of dark sides and seeing how big it is, I may also have to buy it. I know I banged on about how I'm not really into these types of figures in this size, but as the 7" version was so good, having a 12" version can't be bad, can it?

I might make an exception!
