Re: 【NECA T2 2nd wave in store pics】

I just saw that, was the stock cut down for T2 on the grenade launcher?

Re: 【NECA T2 2nd wave in store pics】

are there 1:6 versions? i'd be all over the battle damaged one.

Re: 【NECA T2 2nd wave in store pics】

Not sure if the stock was chipped off that much in the movie ... I could never find any good ref. pics for the damaged M79.
So this was what I did with mine in 1/6th scale.

The mcfarlane M79 didn't have the stock cut short or any kind of weathering so this stubby looking grenade launcher looks odd to me.

Can't wait for the figures though. These have been my favourite of the year, even moreso than Hot Toys Dutch and Predator. I've ordered 3 battle damage ones and 4 with mini-gun.

:lol

No its just that these figures represent exactly the Terminator figures I wanted when I was a child in 1991, when instead we all had to make do with the Kenner kiddy figures. Then McFarlane made some figures which were a huge step forward but still didn't quite deliver. Finally now in 2009, 18 years after the film NECA have made these amazingly sculpted, beautifully proportioned right-out-of-the-film T-800s with well concealed neck, shoulder and elbow ball-jointed articulation...breathe... loads of accessories, alternate heads, almost every possible variation from the film can be recreated perfectly - what more could we ask?

I'm buying multiples because I have plans to recreate different scenes and try different head/body combinations etc.

Excellent. Nice one Dark-side. These look great, I have no complaints by the looks of it.

collect 3 to get this pose ……
the eyes are repainted

Re: 【NECA T2 2nd wave in store pics】

Great repaint on the eyes - very appropriate for the scene you're representing. Although I'll be disappointed now when mine doesn't look like that!

My plan is to just stick that head on the McFarlane MM4 figure for this scene.

edit - oh wait I just noticed did you swap the left arm with another figure? How did you do that?
