Re: NECA Terminator 2 figures
I would say the next figure would have to be the T1000.
Yes. Although putting out the 2 'most exciting' characters first might be the equivalent of shooting your load before you get around to catering for all of your particular fetishes which would have lent the whole enterprise an extra layer of satisfaction and closure.
This is what I'd love to have before this license gets retired:
-
Galleria T-1000, no battle-damage, relevant accessories, definitive Robert Patrick headsculpt (swappable with heads from the other T-1000 figures), torso should be removeable from legs for cross-compatability reasons. A chrome liquid metal variant could be issued.
-
Pescadero T-1000 with sculpted shotgun hits, interchangeable normal&hook arms, split head
-
Biker cop T-1000 - likewise a chrome liquid metal version could be issued.
-
Donut head T-1000 (more accurate redo of the McFarlane figure), at this point in the film he retained the boots from the biker outfit. Like the McFarlane figure the torso should be removeable from the waist&legs so that the undamaged head&upper body from the ''Galleria'' T-1000 can be transplanted onto this one for an
undamaged Steel mill scenes T-1000!
-
'Split down the side' T-1000 (best I could come up with) - from the scene where T-800 attacks him from behind with a pole.
-John connor (steel mill scenes w/ many accessories to compensate for smaller size figure?)
-Sarah connor (steel mill scenes, hair down - most important she have that shotgun)
I'd buy other figures too but these seem the most important. No real need for exploded T-1000 because the McFarlane one is pretty good for that - and I thought I was pushing it with 5 (7 if you count my variants) T-1000s.
