sandman1 said:Hi People,
Just curious, The HT Predators, what type of articulation does the body have? I see lots of pictures of them standing around on the bases, but can the body achive the kneeling/crouching poses that a hunter or something stalking game would do...you know, crouched down, looking at some tracks or getting ready to spring?
If anyone has any photo's like that, could you post them? I want to buy one, but I want to see what they can do first.
Mudshark said:Thanks for all the positive comments guys! I really appreciate it. I've been futzin' around with the Grid Alien and the Ancient Predator to see what kind of a scene I could make. Same old brick background, but I found I could actually pose the Predator like this without using a figure stand. With good lighting and a nicer background this would probably look a whole lot better, but it's fun just seeing what kind of scenes can be set up with these great HT figures.
Bare in mind that it takes a little effort to achieve such poses and that the older figures have more limited movement because the net body suit is a bit tighter fitting. Also the first two figures, Scar and Celtic don't have ratcheted shoulders which helps posing.sandman1 said:king of darkness- You just made up my mind!! Those are the kinds of photo's that I have been waiting to see.... Fantastic job!!!

Tell me about it!!! that would rock!Mudshark said:Thanks, man! I wish HT would make a new Predator head sculpt with the mandibles wide open, so we could pose them doing the 'victory howl'. That would totally rock!

Thanks for the tip... I am picking up a "chopper" body and am going to build a P1 version off the base body, I have done 2 pred's in the reverse order, using some HT parts, and different body's. I am happy with the results, but am still looking for a little more posability from the base body, but couldn't find any of the more action orientated photo's of the body. I have no hesitation to cut and dremmel out joint area's to achive this, but it's nice to see the companies going one step further everytime to try to please the varied tastse of collectors/customizers.screamingmetal said:Bare in mind that it takes a little effort to achieve such poses and that the older figures have more limited movement because the net body suit is a bit tighter fitting.
