On the topic of the cable connectors, perhaps it would be worth contacting Hot Toys and finding out what the product is called?
I've had a problem with my Celtic's spring since I got it out of the box as I pulled something I didn't I know I couldn't pull and stretched out some of the coils -- not so anyone would notice if you didn't look for it but I know about it and it bothers me. It's also an issue if I keep the helmet attached to the spring and let it hang as one is longer than the other.
I also have a bugger of a time reconnecting the coils when they accidently slip off.
What problems are you guys having?

I bought Scar when he first came out and haven't noticed any rust yet.
Gdb, I also partially screwed up the coil on my Celtic, but it wasn't a major straitening, just a small section was effected. It happened when I was trying to push the pin back into the coil after it had fallen out; I applied a little too much pressure and I muffed it.
As to where to find a stainless steel coil, I think an electronics store might have them. I'm not sure what they'd be used for other then protecting an internal wire.

I'll take a look next week and see if they have the same size as the originals and post my findings here. Btw, the humidity here is like 80% in the summer, but so far I haven't noticed any rust on any of mine...can't imagine why.
