LOVE That Elder! Wicked looking dude! And a reworked P1 suit, if I am not mistaken...
he's a more organic looking, realistic OLD Predator to me than even the one in AVP. Much more detail.

Hey, it was hard enough digging these up from the depths of this massive thread!

I know yours are great, too, but today I'm looking just at the close up of the Elder quills and I remember this one as being the best close up of the P2 Elder.

I know yours are great, too, but today I'm looking just at the close up of the Elder quills and I remember this one as being the best close up of the P2 Elder.

Damn you're right, It looks much better with varying lengths of quills. Mine are all the same length. I suppose I could go back cut off a few quills, re-drill the hole and re-glue a few in shorter lengths. It wouldn't take too much to improve them, but I'm not looking forward to reworking that figure anytime soon.

See if the feeling passes or wait until it's overwhelming and then dig in!

For me, my Elder's been a work in progress since I got him. It builds up where every few months I take him down and fiddle with him. This lasts a few nights before I decide that he looks pretty darn good and put him back on the shelf. Then it repeats.

Right now I'm thinking I need more smaller quills but not at the expense of the full size ones, but then where would they come from? I'm sure someone like Les could walk down the aisles of a Ben Franklin (do they still have those?) and pick up some stuff that he could MacGyver into beautiful quills that would also stand the test of time, but I don't know where to start.
