I'll be shocked if Ridley goes with anything that was in Aliens, Alien 3 or Resurrection..besides the whole Xenomorph taking characteristics of what it bursts from idea...but that was already partly used in Alien.

He and Giger will make things far more horrific and disturbing..

Don't forget egg morphing, also.

Using slowmo I saw the space jockey rising out of the platform, the (soon to be) derelict ship, and a silhouette of an alien warrior.

I know! I still can't shake off the goosebumps... this looks amazing.

It's about time the Alien franchise gets some respect from today's generation. I can't wait for people to see the trailer and the film, say they were awesome, then tell them "Hey... you just watched an 'Alien' movie."

I know! I still can't shake off the goosebumps... this looks amazing.

It's about time the Alien franchise gets some respect from today's generation. I can't wait for people to see the trailer and the film, say they were awesome, then tell them "Hey... you just watched an 'Alien' movie."

Did you hear the Alien trailer music in this one? IT'S THERE!!!

..Along with those incredibly over used "BWWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWW"'s that I love!!

I have been thinking of ideas for the trailer for months now, I knew they would never use anything as awesome as I imagined, but this is wonderful..

I love those shots of the derelict falling over. I'm really interested in this.

Hopefully they get their arses into gear and give us an hd trailer this week.

The next big 20th Century Fox film is Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. I bet this trailer will be attached to that film.

Humans discovering an artifact in Africa that has coordinates to another planet, then going on a journey in the Prometheus to these coordinates only to discover that the Space Jockeys created us.. Then a crew member steals the biocode thing (device that allows the Jockeys to create their...creations), and the Jockeys unleash their most deadly weapon on the crew..the Xenomorphs.

I'm pretty sure that's the one...and I will be shocked if it's not the real deal.

I really love it. I love thinking of the Jockeys as this astonishingly powerful and intelligent race.. Like the "Gods and Engineers of space"

So epic.

IMHO Ridley can ignore the other Alien movies if he wants. This is his sandbox first.

Had not heard of that before but it sounds good to me. Sounds like Ridley could take that and make a great sci-fi film.

Fake. That's not even the right spacesuit. Also, the derelict is standing upright in the trailer until the end where it is shown falling over on it's side.

Typeface also is BS. You might have also noticed the return of the Alien opening lettering style. That will be a part of marketing too, bank on it.
