I think what is throwing the likeness off is that the dome is sitting straight, it was usually seen at an angle during ANH like so...

Its a small mod I will more than likely be doing to mine.

Don't recall a contest. Usually they aren't for something so epic.

Does the contest holder somehow work for Sideshow? How the hell did they get one so early? Does Sideshow know?

I'm reminded of the time the Indy PF was out on the forums and in hand on eBay before Sideshow even got them in the shipping warehouse.

It has a lot to do with the angle which we're looking at Vader also. It looks a bit small, but it's not a big deal....

Looking good... but I would agree the helmet does seem off in some shots, but others like the Antilles one it looks perfect. Be sure to waylay fears when you get the chance MF :rock

And the Medi Vs Sideshow difference is ridiculous... never would have imagined the size difference would have been that epic :lol

The lack of a widows peak does not bother me too much about the figure, i would say SS is going to re-use the dome for ESB and ROTJ versions.

for helmet differences..Vaders ANH reminds me of what WW1 german helmets were in comparaision to WW2 german helmets ESB..WW2 being the cleaned up version

Do the ankles have articulation... or is the whole foot a solid piece (I know you already commented on the shin armor)?
