Yes. Unless the non-exclusive is so freaking popular, sought after, and in short supply (i.e. SOLD OUT) then dealers can adjust the price accordingly.

Granted, we have not had that kind of situation as of late with the recent releases, but the initial older offerings indicate otherwise (i.e. SNAKE EYES, STORM SHADOW, FIREFLY).

For that reason. Im starting to contemplate going the non ex route. Most retailers will give 10 - 15% discount, plus living in CA we get taxed. Half of the the ex items are still in the box. I believe the only ones I display with the figure are Flint w/ shotgun, SS w/ chucks, Dukes w/ binoculars, CC w/ cane, and Cobra Ninja alt head.

Yeah I don't get caught up in the whole "gotta have exclusive drama" unless it's a head sculpt.

Even the extra sculpt, I personally can't consider gotta haves. unless its better than the regular, ei. Rock n Roll. The ones that have them I dont use, except for the Cobra Ninja. Storm Shadow's and Beach Heads are still in the box. Firefly's Im using on Snake Eyes. And I know I wont be using Zartan's evil Duke or Hawks with the overseas cap. To me, an essential exclusive would be something that came with the original 3/4 figure. Flint's shotty, SS chucks, and Dukes binoculars, but that is just to me.

No doubt..yeah we all collect on our own unique personal tastes. Sculpts are kinda like two versions in one...or atleast it gives me that freedom.
I actually doubled on Duke when he was back in stock a month ago with the intentions of poppin the evil portrait once Zartan is released. If I change my mind I can just resell.

Those 3 characters are heavy hitters though, so it's understandable that they have a aftermarket markup.

The price matches Stormshadow. I remember them having seperate listings for the trooper, so pretty sure this is meant to be stormshadow.

Dusty was the first exclusive I passed on. I don't see it as a big deal. Half the figures don't have exclusives, we only get about 4 figures a year anyway. I like it when the exclusive doesn't affect the figures original look though, like Beachhead. It's just something extra if you want.

I almost passed on the CG exclusive because my CG's will be busy guarding the throne, but they're neat to have. Glad I got my orders in.

For us in Cal, selling the head would only cover the tax.

Now I'm convinced it's the gayest thing Ive ever seen in 1:6 scale.

I don't know, I'm more wait and see at this point. I said I'd prefer cloth over pleather, but unless somebody makes cloth tops, I think we'll be stuck with this look.
