So hey, Gruckles (or anyone else...)

I just got both my Storm Shadow and my Perseus. I'm about ready to do the swap. I'm a total newb though, so anything I should be aware of/cautious about besides trimming the sleeves?

Be sure to put a stitch in each corner after you cut the sleeves so the hem doesn't give away.

So far so good. (I think).

So next question - Stormie's feet came off with the pegs in feet, holes left in the ankles of the body, and Perseus' feet came off with the pegs still in the legs, holes left in the feet.

I'm trying to pull a little on the pegs on Stormie's feet, and the pegs in the Perseus body, neither want to give, and I think I might need to use some force.

1. Should I just yank on the pegs, and if so, on Stormie's feet, or Pereus' legs?

2. Are the ankle pegs compatible between bodies? It looks the extra pegs that came with Pereus' extra hands are a lot shorter... is that the case with the legs as well?

Thanks in advance!

Did a lil' research, think I found the answers. Looks like I need to use the HT pegs, and heating the ankles and popping out the ankles from Storm-Shadow's feet is the best solution.

But what's the best way to do that? I'm a little paranoid I'm gonna melt his feet, or mess up the paint or something!

Boil water in microwave ( A glass glass, about 3 min should be sufficient) toss the feet in after it comes out of the microwave. let it sit for 10-30 seconds, then take the feet out, and just give the pegs a yank. they'll come right out.

^Thanks for the answer!!!

I've done that with quite a few of the modern era 3.75 Joes, but I was worried about whether or not that would have an adverse affect on the Sideshow stuff! It was easy taking the risk fir the first time on a $5 fig. On a $200 figure (almost $400 after shipping and the Perseus to mod him), I figured better get verification first!:D

Gonna go get 'er done now!

Finally done. :D

I wasn't originally going to collect the cloth-goods stuff, I was going to stick to Stormtroopers and Iron Man stuff. I just liked the armored look better. I thought the cloth-goods stuff looked too doll-like. But after the pics of Stormie y'all put up, I had to have him. A few mods and a crapload of money later...

Well it's a adjusted Sideshow Snake Eyes. He is on a modified ATT body with newline boots and cobra trooper hands.

Just got this fig the other day. Anyone know of an easy way to get the wrinkles on the uniform to relax? I tried to iron them, but some of the the wrinkles were hard to access and I couldnt get them out. I thought about a steamer, but I do not want to damage any of the paint apps...
