All the friggin' variants had a lot to do with that. I think if they keep trucking with cool concepts, the line will pick up again.

After the variant mess, the Prophet, Butcher and Punk brought me back into the line. Some of the best The Dead has to offer. I think they're doing fine. If people get a new announcement after 3 months the "end is nigh" posts begin.

Well, I dunno. We just got two. One the SDCC Ex and the other announced at SDCC (which I would've held until Spook personally). It took forever for the last bit of variants to dribble off the GC fodder list so that would explain why they didn't pop up this year. Zombies have a HUGE cult following, and with Sideshow being the only company putting out quality 12" zombies (I'll ad Amok to that list when they actually produce more than one), it's the one-stop shop.

Yeah, we'll see. While I am done with the line, I'd still like to see Sideshow revive it and it do well. That's best for everyone, really.

It's just clear that they took the DEAD collectors for granted. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and this shift in focus from just 12" figures to other products is more of a sign that they're making an effort to stimulate the brand all around.

If I were still a 12" DEAD collector I wouldn't be overly optimistic at this point. But, like I said, we'll see. It's certainly not completely dead yet and if Sideshow approaches it correctly they definitely have a chance to revive it and regain the momentum it once had.

Yeah, I'm hoping the move to PFs and LSBs is for expansion's sake and not a preconceived detour from the 12" line.

I agree entirely, but it's hard to ignore that two of those offerings, both solid additions, are on the GC list.

If it wasn't for Chicky the other night, I would still be a loser. No luck at all in any contests this year. :lol

Congrats, Jen. :banana You truly deserve a freebie since you're such an active board member.

I consider myself a WINNER this Spook (even though I didn't win a freebie) since I was able to acquire the B&W Creature and pre-ordered EX Darth Talon.:D

It says Flexpay available, but it doesn't seem to work. I ended up using my points to place my order.

On the plus side, it says they're in stock and will be shipping ASAP! :joy
