Yeah, I hope so. I just got greedy and skipped the 25% discount from StarWarsShop in hopes of snagging something bigger at SS.

:lol

I was figuring the Grievous Bust was already marked $50 off on Star Wars Shop's site (from normal retail which was $499) with an additional 25% off. So I jumped at the offer. The only thing is that I was disappointed in was what it was shipped in. I don't know if the bust was a return or display piece. It stunk of cigarette smoke. Both inner and outer boxes were in really rough shape. The inner box was sliced entirely from what looked like a boxcutter and the seams holding the inner box together was apart. Luckily the bust itself was in perfect shape and there wasn't anything wrong with it.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that.

Bottom line: You got an excellent price plus no damage to the bust.:rock

Got my Wicked 75 prize this past Saturday.

It was a Kiss Kubrick 4-pack.

Seriously? Man, that's barely worth the $10 shipping charge. I'd better get something more substantial or I'm going to be pretty upset. I'll probably get nailed for at least $20 in duty fees, to boot.

That's really how you're going to be? Maybe you shouldn't have played.

I don't mind paying $30 in shipping and duty for something more substantial, even if it's from a line I don't collect. But not something I can buy at my local comic store for $12.99.

At the very least I'd like something I can flip to recoup my costs if it's something I don't want for my collection. Hell, if Sideshow would have told us what we won prior to shipping, I might have been willing to pass on the prize entirely so they could award it to someone else instead. I don't see how that makes me a bad person.

Those who win should like anything they get. Im hoping for a hellboy II pf yea right I can dream... but I am just happy I had the chance to enter. I love the thrill of it all. It even says if you dont like what you win no whining.

rock on sideshow!!!!:chew

I agree with Kabuki. It's not that you are a bad person, but re-read what you previously posted. It comes across as ungrateful and selfish for a free prize. You should be happy that you won something among the "75" winners in the MOTW contest. You knew that it's a mystery prize and that you would have to cover the cost of shipping. Sure it's a gamble as far as what comes in, but it was a choice that you (like everybody else) made. I'm sure a lot of others would've liked to have won that portion of the contest. Bottom line is be happy with whatever you get and don't whine over a freebie.
