Yeah, it's sad. I stopped collecting LOTR after getting burned on the 1:6 when SS didn't complete The Fellowship. I was able to do a custom Gimli (who actually looks great!), but that left us minus Merry and Pippin.

Toast, Avfin, and myself are Team Chainsaw, we are in need of it and actually I think Toast if I can remember correctly got one all ready. So Avfin and myself need chainsaw killers.

It would be really cool to win one, but if not oh well. No big deal, its still cool to try at least.

Really a shame... Gandalf is still one of the best 12" pieces SS has made.

If you have been able to avoid the movie previews, count yourself lucky. I had to read the books because my students (Jr. High) were and the writing was horrible. Vampires that sparkle like diamonds in the sun instead of bursting into flames? Ed described as "cut from marble" 1 million times?
