No, not joking, just wondering if people were actually able to use the code or if it was another glitch....

I am wondering the same thing... I had it in my cart... the item still showed in stock as it does when the freebies are still available...
code wouldn't work in checkout... item still available... tried code, didn't work... so I tried again a few times, checked and Tick was still in stock.. so tried the code a few more times in checkout... didn't work, then tried again a few seconds later and it said Sorry but the item in your cart is sold out, and it was removed...
Makes me think the discount code wasn't activated at the start.

Which is bull____. I was entering in that code all through Doors and even right after. There were even posts before people starting posting they got a Tick that it wasn't working. They should have restarted the contest with a different word IMHO. Oh well.

I know, I even asked Alex if it was activated cause I couldn't get it to work... about a minute later she told me it was active and that they went fast.... uh, when was it active? After people noticed the glitch?
Sucks for those that tried and stopped cause it said it was invalid.
I'll settle out of court for a B&W Mort or a Thriller MJ..

Never thought I'd say this, but WOW, this spook sucked major ass. Not only did Sideshow take aim at promoting it to *********s, but overall, there were too many technical difficulties and overall bull____ to truly make this really any fun at all. Chat had the overwhelming feeling of handing rice out in Somalia, the contests that didn't work (because someone forgot to activate the words) were like standing in line at the DMV and handed a form after 3hrs of waiting and told to go to line 12 with the other 300 people, where, after waiting another 2hrs, you're given another form and another line. Wash, rinse, repeat. Better things to do than this. Next year I'll be making other plans.

Well, I'm out. Between the incessant glitches, watching other people win multiple huge prizes (while many of us won no prizes at all), the ridiculous focus on Facebook and Twitter, and the general lack of fun, this has been my worst Spook ever.

Agreed. Spook sucked this year. Spread way too thin and the community feel that made Spook fun the past years was gone this year.

Agreed! This is my first Spook and I haven't been impressed...at all. At least I am getting to meet more Freaks on here.
