Seriously? I only have five entries for a free B&W Mort. See post 551 in the losers thread if you want to participate. The cutoff for entries is midnight PST tonight.

:D

For the love of god, don't point Rosario to this forum. How could that be a good thing? Better that we never hear from him again. I'd just leave him alone on Facebook as well. He'll go away soon enough. We already know he's a tool under the best of circumstances. No need to provoke him.

No doubt. Can't wait until I stop seeing his name in here. :monkey4

____ I would enter but I guess I am not a loser anymore since lance is sending me a free chainsaw.

He probably already signed up.

Survey submitted. I felt sorta bad marking Worse, Worse, Worse, Worse at the very beginning, but I was being honest. My final comments elaborated on how I felt. I wasn't insulting or overly critical, and I complimented them on some things as well, but it was definitely worse than past Spooktaculars. However, it was still a blast, and I have no hesitation to participate every day next year.

I can't remember now if I put it in my final thoughts but one thing I hope I did or gets seen. If not I might email in is that I do want to see the amount of stuff limited to a certain number of wins. That includes myself. Like I said over the course of the week it shouldn't be more than 2-3 things at most.

I agree with this idea in spirit. But rather than limiting total prizes to 2-3, I would just say that you can only win one of any particular kind of prize. So only one chat prize, one Facebook prize, one random drawing, etc. The freebie giveaways that appear from time to time on the site shouldn't be limited IMHO.

However, I personally wouldn't count minor stuff like Cosbabies and catalogs, because people would probably end up seeing those as penalties rather than prizes, since they disqualify them from the major stuff.

I put that as well as added that it felt extremely impersonal due to how thin the staff was stretched and while I definitely agree that FB and Twitter should be used to promote Spook, Contests should stay within the realm of Sideshow's website.

Thats an idea. I agree with you on the little things not taking you out of the running for something bigger later on but find a way to limit the bigger prize wins.

I did mention the having to stretch the staff so thin during the chats. I was very honest with my thoughts and they it wasnt all rosey as some might think that I am.

Thats exactly what I told them. I said I was fine to use FB but make it so it directs people to the site and not hold contests on it (even though I won a FB contest :))

Actually, after giving this some thought, I think this would just be a big pain in the butt for the Sideshow people to keep track of.

It may sound self-serving of me to say this, but is multiple wins actually a major problem? While I understand that it's frustrating to see someone win multiple things while you win nothing (and I've been on the opposite end of that before), it sounds like they had 200+ individual winners this year, so it's not as if one group of people is hoarding all the prizes. I think my luck this year was mostly just that -- luck. I've been in Spooktaculars for years and never won more than one non-freebie prize.

Yes and yes. It's a big deal to everybody other than the Grand Poombah of the Prize Patrol. Especially when you're snaking 4+ prizes. There are many first-time participants who busted their ***** and didn't walk away with a ****** thing while you and everybody else were walking away with much items. It gets worse when the wins can be predicted too (you know what I mean there ;):lol). It's not that hard to keep track of since they will have the ordering info on file anyway.
