There are many first-time participants who busted their ***** and didn't walk away with a ****** thing while you and everybody else were walking away with much items.

I can understand what you're saying, and that's why I retired. I didn't enter a single contest for the last 2-3 days of spook. But on the other hand, I don't really think winners should be made to feel guilty for winning (except for our Facebook friend, perhaps).

I could probably get behind a limit of 2-3 prizes (again, assuming very minor things and limited-time freebies are excluded).

Winners shouldn't feel guilty. They should feel elated and want others to share in the fun. Otherwise, it's just greed. :lol

I agree with what you are saying, and appreciate you "retiring" to let others win. A limit on the number of major prizes (say a value of $200+) that can be won might be a good idea for the future (maybe a limit of two?)

I know I've posted a few jokes about you winning so much, but I didn't mean anything personal. You shouldn't feel guilty for what you won. I truly congratulate you for your skill (to win in chat does truly take skill most of the time, and blind luck the rest of the time). I don't think anyone here thinks poorly of you. You're an upstanding Freak, and I applaud you for a job well done! :clap :clap :clap

So when does this thread get locked? At this point its like being stuck in a room with a girl you can't wait to break up with and forget you were ever with her.

my feedback was less prizes and better discounts.

I said that as well.

Same here. I hope it was a common comment. I pointed out how awesome the discounts used to be, when we could find 40-50% discounts on great (if slightly less popular) items, but that this year the discounts were pretty unmotivating.

My Galadriel PF (chat win) and Canvas bags ($20 Gift card use) arrived yesterday.

My wife said that the pictures on the website don't do the Galadriel PF justice, and I think I agree.

Now we just to find a place to display her...we're thinking about buying some of those "floating" shelves to start putting up around the house, as we're running out of flat surfaces to display some of these things.

My feedback was to focus more on the SS website and not on all that bull_____ that is FB and Twitter. They spread themselves way too thin and had contests/prizes specific to each site. Focus on one site (that being the SS website) and reduce the number of prizes but increase the quality of the prizes. I also recommended that they increase the quality of the new product releases. The horror plushies are going to go down in infamy as one of the worst product releases for Spooktacular. Unfotunately, I have a bad feeling that we will be seeing those plushies as giveaways at next year's Spook. :lecture

I commented on this as well. I remember the really nice discounts from previous Spooks that actually made me want to buy something. The discounts from this year's Spook were just...meh. They didn't do anything for me.
