They WERE EU. But Lucasfilm has seen fit to grant the wishes of the Star Wars fans masses and include them in the cartoons so that they become canon.

For me, cartoons do not = canon. Besides, wasn't Snowbunny Padme first seen in cartoons anyway?

Yeah, I actually thought this was considered EU? Ventress and Snowbunny Padme were part of the EU poll, but from the first CW series.

With Lucas' heavy involvement, plot, character design, animation, etc., he's just as involved here as he was on ESB or ROTJ. Plus, with discarding Traviss' developed EU history of the Mandalorians to establish a different history in the CW series as official cannon, also proves that point. So love it or hate it, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is cannon.

The first CW shorts on Cartoon Network are considered EU though.

So you consider the Holiday Special Canon? JK , I feel the same way actually Live action only & moving towards OT only :emperor

I do like all the costumes & designs though, just not the storylines

Someone mentioned the 501st was on the back of the Anakin box. Can anyone confirm this?

Odd they would do that w/o an announcement especially for an in demand figure like the 501st!

Then again it happened Bubo was pictured on the back of the box of Jabba's Throne before it was announced.

You'd think you'd here more about it by now since SS has begun shipping Anakin.

got to ask, what is so off about the "clone emperors" ( which were not exactly Clones anyways) ? The movies already had ghosts and clones, whats soo odd about combining the two?

Hopefully we get it just bad enough that Anakin gets delivered to my office safely...and then I leave early due to inclement weather.

There could be a picture of the 501st on the box, the artwork is done well in advance, they probably felt 501st would be good to have on back with Anakin, and figured he'd ship after they made the announcement about the figure, but if the figure ships sooner than anticipated, then you get caught.

Consider that confirmed. ANH Vader is also on the back.

Also, anyone else who has this notice the hole in the bottom of Rotta? I wonder if that was left from the rotocasting or if that's for a plug in the bottom of a backpack so he sits tight.
