I can't wait till Sideshow makes Yoda and that pic will be real.

Cool pics once again but what's up with "pretzel legged Luke"?? :monkey5

LOL, I shoulda cropped that out or straightened him out. They also need to give him hands that are proportional to his body.

Kit did look like he was pre-occupied with something in that scene...he was thinking of Anakin's comment! That's why he went down so fast. His self esteem had been crushed the day before :D !

Sweet pics Coheteboy, keep them coming :)!

Coheteboy do you work for Toyfare magazine?

I was thinking the exact same thing?!?!?!? If he doesn't he should. His posts remind me of that mag so much. And Maces' eyes are right out of Twisted Toyfare.

I don't work for Toyfare, I'm afraid. If I did, there'd still be 'Big Shots' in the mag. Plus toyfare is based in Congers, NY. I'm in Los Angeles. But I did try to emulate the look of their early days with the blank background and stuff. The humor (or lack of it) is me though.

Appreciate all the kind feedback, thanks much!

Great photography, Coheteboy. (and funny stuff)

Perhaps you could put together a tutorial, or a list of tips, sharing how you created them.

Nice job maulsballs. I like the flare in the middle. Now someone needs to photoshop that puppy!

It'd be next to impossible to do it without having to cover up and redo the effects.

But great shots nevertheless, maulsballs!!! I like the burn marks on Anakin.

My Obi-Wan is slated for delivery on Monday, and you'd better believe that I'll be posting some duel shots. But the bulk of them will have to wait until my official review for Yodasnews is up for a little while. Then, I'll post 'em all. I have some outrageous ideas for both Obi vs. Ani as well as my Mace Windu figure (arriving tomorrow...hopefully).

Hehe thanks, Pickard. You should have ended your post with a "make it so." or "engage". :rotfl

I suppose I can touch on a few things I do..

1. Buy toys
2. Decent digital camera and a steady hand. Make sure you're using macro setting (the flower).
3. use seamless white sheet of paper for my background. You can use any color you prefer but make sure it's seamless. You can even use a nicely ironed bed sheet if you like.
4. GE reveal light bulbs are easier than buying professional lighting. Takes out the yellow tint that most lightbulbs emit.
5. photoshop for all the fun stuff

Those are pretty much the same conditions I use...except there is one spot in my room where the wall is white enough to make an easily-isolated background in Photoshop.
