i don't know, man. i love stallone more than anyone but after what he did to judge dredd, i don't think he should be let anywhere near the punisher (partly because frank is my all time favourite). didn't stallone's demands on dredd move the movie away from the comics and more into his vision?

i don't want that happening to frank.

I think Stallone's look is perfect for the Punisher. Now that Jane is gone, I hope it happens.

Sly could have made a good Punisher about 15 years ago.

Besides, if he did do Punisher, to me it would seem like an urban Rambo. No need to see that.

I love Stallone, but I absolutely loved what Jane did in Punisher, and I can't see myself watching anyone else in the role because I loved the character he created.

Generally speaking about movies, I called in "sick" from my gov'nt. job the other day and watched "Nighthawks" on Encore Action. I'd never seen it before and really liked it! Check it out sometime. Here's a picture:

Come on HT, make us a Nighthawks Stallone figure!!

yeah nighthawks was awesome! i loved that movie. another great rutger hauer performance too. i used to see stallone in that movie and call him a poor man's pacino (because he looks a lot like serpico) but stallone more than holds his own in that movie.

i was too late for the Rocky Bust from sideshowtoy.com,i regret i didnt order it earlier.

Dave, which DVD do you have, I have the 4 disc trilogy set that comes in a metal case with the original Rambo 2 image embossed on the front.

Yeah it's not on that set. It's on the double-dip release I got at Walmart for five bucks. Worth it for that alone and the Sly commentary.

Ok, I know what ones you're talking about, I had picked up the Rambo 3 once in one of the cheap bins at Walmart too, looked like some more bonus features, but the few deleted scenes were about it, and nothing great, but I'll have to keep my eyes open for First Blood and check that out.

Its on the First Blood dvd known as the ULTIMATE EDITION

All three Rambo films have been released via DvD as the ultimate edition. Rambo III also has an alternate ending.

Thought I'd revive this thread, I'm sure some folks will chime in.

I've started working out the past few weeks and my routine is to run with Rocky music on my iPod, and during my stretches I'll watch clips of the training montages and I have to say, you can say whatever you want about Stallone's quality as an actor or whatever, but Rocky 1, Rocky 2 and Rocky Balboa are some of the most inspirational movies I've ever watched, they just drive me like nothing ever has. When he had the idea for Rocky, he struck gold, and I'm glad he made Balboa, it's a very inspiration film.

Agree,i always get a kick out of watching Rocky IV,the training scenes and the music always makes you wanna go out and train the ^^^^ out of you.

There is not a single movie that motivates me more to train than Rocky IV.
