Throw it in, never hurts to watch it again :rock. I would but I'm going to be soon and being october, I'm kicking off the month with a little Hannibal Lecter action, nothing follows up a good Rocky workout like some fava beans and a ncie chianti, phhh phhh phhhhh :lol

The soundtrack to Rocky is probably my all-time fave next to JAWS and Saturday Night Fever. I love "Going the Distance". Bill Conti struck gold with his score.

New statues in the works by Edinho Maga, same sculptor as the RAMBO statue from Hollywood Collectibles Group.

What happened is I tracked down the artist's photobucket site because I wanted to save the unpainted sculpt pictures for the RAMBO statue, and the newest stuff comes up first and the Rocky statue was there, I kept poking and next page was Rambo 2. I would assume Rocky will be sold through HCG, at least Rambo 2 has their name on it which should mean they'll be selling it.

That Rambo 2 statue is brilliant. :rock
Not sure if the likeness is 100% though.

I think the likeness is there, but the hair is throwing it off a bit I think, it's definitely more interpretive looking and doesn't quite look like Stallone's from the movie, particular the reference image the sculpt's based on.

Ya, those are all in his photobucket, but I just felt some of the angles made the piece look kinda ^^^^ty so I didn't bother posting them.

It looks to me like perhaps he sculpted the upper body and lower body separate and then assembled it. The whole area where the shorts meet the abdomen looks disconnected like it's not all one solid piece.

The statue looks fine, the face is what concerns me,looks the same as the Rambo statue, that doesnt work for me.

Im pretty sure ill get the Rambo 2 either way,1/4 scale dude, its HUGE!!!

i didnt have any idea how big 20" statue or a PF was before i got this 20" statue last week, and if the rambo 2 is about the same hight i will need a new shelf!

Rocky83 glad too hear you got the Rocky 20 inch statue. Did you get a good deal on it?

Is new Rocky Balboa statue going too be 1/4 scale too?

One last question. Any idea on the price and release date on the Rambo II and Rocky Balboa statues?

No information on either statue. At the moment, the only information is the artist has posted images to his personal photo site. If any ordering information comes out it'll get posted at this site though, no worries.

The Rocky statue is likely 12" height as a counterpart to the RAMBO piece.

Got this message directly from Edinho 2 days agoo:

Hello mr, how are you?

I received the first photos of Rambo II painted, I believe that still in this month Hollywood CG goes to start the available pre-order of him. Regarding the Rocky, I not yet know, maybe I make an limited special edition of 30 or 50 copies, being also available the paint version.

best regards
edinho maga

Interesting. Well if Rocky costs what Rambo did, I'd love to have it, though the low ES concerns me that it'd cost more.

Look forward to Rambo though, been saying for some time that I'd love a Rambo 2 based PF from Sideshow and Edinho's statue pretty much captures the look I'd have wanted.
