I've wanted to shave my head occassionally. I think it stems from a desire to be someone other than who you are. So many of the things that are major milestones for most women (getting married, having children, being rich and famous) have been trivialities for Ms. Spears. I imagine depression is a natural place to go when all your life seems like a cartoon.

Probably just a faze, everyone goes through it. I shaved my head (well was forced to) when I worked with the basketball team in college. All the players did it as a "Team Unity" thing and I got suckered into it as well... My new nickname for the next month was Uncle Fester. She hasn't had an album for like 5 years... just let her be and forget about her.. her 15 minutes are over.

There's obviously a much larger picture here than Britney shaving her head. I think the sad thing is that she has two small children and she doesn't exactly seem to have the stability to take care of them...and probably doesn't.

It's tragic what's going on with her, she started out her career on a dark path and it looks like the vehicle is speeding up. I worry that she might end up over dosing or committing suicide or something terribly tragic like that before this is all said and done, I hope someone intervenes and gives her the moral support and help she needs.

I'm lazy enough that getting straight out of bed and not having to brush your hair before you go out sounds really appealing from time to time.

I have shaved my head once a year for the last three years. It's much more comfortable in the hot weather, and it's a heck of a lot easier to take care of.

this could for all we know be part of her treatment... shedding her 'pop princess' image and anything that belongs with it. We don't know her reasons... it might just be a fashion thing, or might be something deeper.

All i know is that if someone needs help and is having troubles.... whoever they are... laughing at them isnt usually the most helpful thing you can do
